Akshay Kumar's 'Samrat Prithviraj' To Premiere On Amazon Prime Video On July 1

Mumbai, June 28 - Amazon Prime Video has announced the official digital release date of the Akshay Kumar-fronted historical action drama film Samrat Prithviraj. ## The Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi-directed movie, which was released in theaters on June 3rd, will be premiering on Prime Video on July 1st, 28 days after its exclusive theatrical run. KGF Fame Ravi Basrur To Score The Music of Salman Khan's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali'?

Mumbai June 28 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been shooting for the action-packed comedy entertainer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali for some time now. The Farhad Samji-directorial also stars Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, and Shehnaaz Gill among others in key roles. ## Meanwhile, there are reportedly some changes in the music department of the movie. It was earlier reported that DSP aka Devi Sri Prasad would be composing the music for the film, however, he has reportedly parted his ways due to some reasons.## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan has brought KGF fame Ravi Basrur to score the music. Basrur had also scored the BGM of Salman Khan's "Antim: The Final Truth" and it got appreciation. The report says that Salman approached Ravi Basrur and he immediately said yes to him and come on board to take the movie to the new heights, especially in the music department. ## Ravi Basrur has already started working on the film and has the theme music for KEKD (Bhaijaan) ready. He is also working on a soulful melody which will be shot in upcoming schedules. Interestingly, Basrur will not be the only composer in the movie. Akshay Kumar-Fronted 'Capsule Gill' Brings Stunning Supporting Cast Onboard

Mumbai, June 28 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to kickstart the shooting for his next film. He is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie "Soorarai Pottru" which is expected to wrap up in the next few days.## Akshay will next take up Pooja Entertainment and Kyta Productions' joint production "Capsule Gill", which is based on the life of former additional chief mining engineer, Jaswant Singh Gill. The movie is set against the backdrop of the 1989 Raniganj coal mining disaster during which Gill carried out a rescue operation and saved the lives of 64 workers trapped in a flooded coal mine. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, the shooting of the film will commence on July 4th in the UK. "The pre-production and all have been completed and the team will fly to the UK on June 29th". Akshay will reportedly shoot there till July 31st and then return to India for the promotion of Raksha Bandhan. He will resume shooting for this film in September in Mumbai, followed by two short schedules in Raigarh and Raniganj later this year, per report.## "Capsule Gill" will be directed by Suresh Desai and it will feature Parineeti Chopra as the female lead opposite Akshay. It will mark their second film together after "Kesari". Meanwhile, the makers have reportedly brought an ensemble supporting cast on board the movie. ## The same report states that the movie will feature Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Ravi Kishan in key roles along with Virendra Saxena, Varun Badola, Rajesh Sharma, and Ananth Mahadevan. Mumbai, June 26 - JugJugg Jeeyo has witnessed good growth of over 35% on its second day to record 12.55 crores net box office collections. The growth is fantastic with some circuits even showing over 50% growth. The biggest growth came in the centers of Gujarat due to the film being in a comic zone. Box Office: JugJugg Jeeyo First Saturday Early Estimates; Takes A Good Jump

Mumbai, June 25 - JugJugg Jeeyo which recorded a good first-day collection of 9.28 crores witnessed approx 30% growth on the second day. The growth on Saturday is a regular growth for these types of word-of-mouth films. There were expectations of a far bigger growth of around 40-45% but that didn't happen. The movie is estimated to score approx. 12 crores net box office collections on the first Saturday. The second day of business of the film will take the total collections of the film to a little over 21cr net box office mark which is just a decent number for this film. Delhi-NCR remains the best performing circuit followed by Mumbai. Even Pune is doing fine but except for these circuits, The collections are lackluster everywhere. The collections in the southern belts are very dull. The collections in the multiplexes are good while the single-screens are very bad but that was expected as the film is not for the single-screen audiences. The film needs to show a huge jump on Sunday and should register collections between 17-18cr. The film has shown a similar trajectory to a previous big Hindi film Samrat Prithviraj though the plus point of JugJugg Jeeyo is that the film has way lesser cost than that film. Box Office: JugJugg Jeeyo First Day Early Estimates; Heads For A Good Opening Day Collections

Mumbai, June 24 - JugJugg Jeeyo the first big Hindi release since Samrat Prithviraj has been released in the cinemas today. The film has got around 3400 screens and over 11000 shows per day which is one of the highest post-pandemic for Hindi films. The film started with an average occupancy everywhere in the morning, while the multiplexes were good, The single screens were dull but as the day progressed, The collections of JugJugg Jeeyo picked up, especially in the major multiplexes. The early estimated collections suggest an opening day of Rs. 9-9.50 cr. The film needs big growth in the multiplexes in the late-night shows to reach the double-digit mark. Whether the film will cross the double-digit mark or remains a bit low will be known by tomorrow morning. Varun Dhawan had bigger openings than JugJugg Jeeyo in the past but they were in a more commercial zone and released in pre-pandemic days. The best collections of the film came in the Delhi-NCR as the film gives the regional vibe of a Punjabi family film. The opening of the film is very much similar to Samrat Prithviraj with the only difference being that Samrat Prithviraj had better collections on the single screens of the north. Overall JugJugg Jeeyo is moving towards a good first-day number. A near double-digit start will give the film a chance to succeed at the box office though that will depend on the growth of the film over this weekend and then eventually the holds on the weekdays.
