Mumbai, December 2 - One of the most talented Bollywood actors, Vikrant Massey left his fans stunned on Monday with the announcement of his retirement from acting, at the age of 37. The actor shared the news on his Instagram account and confirmed that 2025 will be the end of his acting career.## "The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it's time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor", the actor said.## Confirming the retirement "until time deems right", Vikrant added, "So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. The last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted". ## Vikrant made his acting debut in 2013 with Lootera and has since then been a part of some critically acclaimed films such as Lipstick Under My Burkha, Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba, 12th Fail, Sector 36, and, The Sabarmati Report. Mumbai, November 27 - Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have started shooting for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly-anticipated war romantic drama Love and War which also stars Vicky Kaushal in prominent roles. ## Love & War is touted to be an epic romantic film set against the backdrop of war and this will feature the actors in the completely new retro looks. As the shoot commences, the looks of Ranbir and Alia leaked online while filming in Mumbai. ## In the leaked pictures, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen wearing a white shirt and black tie, sporting a vintage-style moustache and gelled pulled-back hair. Alia, on the other hand, is wearing a bell-sleeved white dress, which is tied at the waist. The actress had a big, puffed hairstyle, resembling a hairdo from decades back.## According to the reports, Alia Bhatt shot a grand sequence with Vicky Kaushal before shooting with Ranbir. 'Housefull 5' Massive Ensemble Cast Revealed As Final Schedule Commences

Mumbai, November 27 - Producer Sajid Nadiadwala's comedy entertainer Housefull 5 led by superstar Akshay Kumar has entered the final schedule of filming. Dostana fame Tarun Mansukhani is directing the film with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment producing. ## On Wednesday (November 27), the makers announced the commencement of the final schedule and to celebrate the legacy of the film, the entire massive ensemble star cast was also unveiled. It is the first franchise to reach the 5th instalment and has been shot on a luxurious cruise starting from London to France to Spain and back to the UK. ## The film was originally announced with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh before many other actors joined them. Mumbai, November 24 - There were a couple of re-releases this weekend at the Hindi box office in the form of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan-fronted cult classic Karan Arjun and Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa - The Rise of which the sequel is gearing up for December 5 release worldwide. ## Karan Arjun, directed by Rakesh Roshan, had a wide re-release with over 2000 shows scheduled daily during the opening weekend. However, the movie couldn't replicate the success of the recent Bollywood re-releases and ended with the opening of around 1 crore gross collection. ## There wasn't much movement in the collection after the opening day of around 30 lakh gross as Saturday figures were almost similar to Friday and on Sunday, the movie is expected to gross around 40 lakh. With a not-so-encouraging opening weekend after a wide re-release, Karan Arjun is unlikely to have much impact during the weekdays. ## Allu Arjun's Pushpa - The Rise also had a wide re-release this weekend in Hindi and managed to gross around 70 lakh in the opening weekend. There wasn't much awareness about the re-release of the film among the audiences so whatever it has earned is a bonus. ## The Sukumar's directorial, which was originally released in 2021, grossed around 20 lakh on its first day of re-release, followed by 25 lakh each on Saturday and Sunday. 'Cocktail' Sequel In The Works With Shahid Kapoor

Mumbai, November 23 - With franchises making waves at the Bollywood box office, more and more standalone films are getting sequels and the latest to join this trend is 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail which was headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. ## Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films with others, Cocktail was a box office hit with over 120 crores gross collection worldwide. Now, more than a decade later when franchises are succeeding at the box office, Maddock Films has put Cocktail 2 in the making. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, producer Dinesh Vijan has been working idea of the sequel with director Homi Adajania and they've now crafted a storyline that they believe matches the magic of the first film. Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is in talks to headline the project. ## Shahid has not yet signed on the dotted line but has reportedly verbally committed to this film, which would mark his second collaboration with Maddock following this year's robotic romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The report further states that the talks are on with young actresses to come on board. ## The film is expected to start rolling by the middle of 2025 after Shahid completes Vishal Bhardwaj's action thriller which goes on the floor this December. Mumbai, November 15 - Ajay Devgn is teaming up with Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti for an action-adventure film. The yet-untitled movie will be produced by Luv Ranjan who reunites with the actor after De De Pyaar De and its upcoming sequel.## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, the yet-untitled film is a book adaptation. It is said that the movie is based on Aseem Arora and Richa Ganesh's 2018 book, Ranger. Set against the backdrop of Bandhavgarh's sprawling wilderness, the book follows Ranger Singh, a rookie forest officer, stepping into a world rife with corruption, neglect, and an alarming tiger crisis.## Aseem Arora is adapting the book himself, however, the movie does not entirely adhere to the original material, as the makers are opting for an Indiana Jones-style narrative to make it more commercially appealing, as per Peepingmoon.com. ## Director Jagan Shakti intends to mount the movie on a massive scale with a promise to deliver a top-notch cinematic experience for the audience. The pre-production for the film has already commenced and is going on at a brisk pace as the makers are aiming to take the film on floors by January 2025. ## Ajay will start Jagan's film after completing Son of Sardar 2 which is expected to be wrapped soon. As for the release, the actor is fresh from the box office success of Singham Again which is currently playing in theaters in its third week. Mumbai, November 9 - Director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn has become the highest-grossing film in the franchise at the domestic as well as worldwide box office, beating the lifetime collection of Singham Returns in just 5 days. ## The latest instalment in the cop action drama scored 232 crores gross worldwide in the first 5 days which surpassed the total worldwide collection of Singham Returns' (Singham 2) 216 crores gross. Domestically, Singham 3 outgrossed Singham 2's 200 crores gross in a flat 7 days to become the biggest film in the franchise. ## Singham 3, which is 5th movie in Shetty's cop universe, is currently in the second weekend and has so far grossed approximately 275 crores worldwide, including 217 crores domestically (207.50+ crores net) in 8 days, through the second Friday.
