Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions with Namah Pictures, the movie was officially announced in December last year. ## Now, according to the report by Peepingmoon, the makers have locked Ananya Pandey as the female lead to headline the project with Kartik. The actress was also in line to bag Imtiaz Ali's next love story, but she chose TMMTMTTM as both films will go on floors at the same time. ## TMMTMTTM marks the second film together for Kartik and Ananya after Pati Patni Aur Woh. Mumbai, January 28 - Superstar Yash is busy shooting for director Geetu Mohandas' gangster action thriller Toxic which is the actor's first film since all-time blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2. The actor also has director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana which has been on the floors since last year. ## In a recent interview, Yash confirmed his participation in Ramayana, not only as an actor but also as a co-producer. Now, according to the report by Filmfare, the actor will join the shoot of this epic by March this year. He will start with solo sequences in Lanka, followed by the Panchvati sequence. ## As already known to all, Yash is playing the role of Raavan while Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi plays Goddess Sita. Mumbai, January 25 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's aerial action thriller Sky Force witnesses a huge jump of around 70% on its second day, after a decent first-day collection of over 12 crores net, thanks to the big discount on online ticket bookings. ## According to early estimates, Sky Force has minted 21-22 crores net collection on Saturday. This is a very good collection as it has been noticed that the discounted offer, which was available on the first day of the instant online bookings, was partially opened on the second day. ## The total collection of the film is around 33+ crores net after 2 days. The movie is expected to see a further jump on Sunday, which also happens to be Republic Day as opening weekend is looking to be around 60 crores net which is fantastic. ## It might not have been possible for Sky Force to score this much collection with regular ticket prices from the opening day. While the idea of having heavily discounted ticket prices is not a good long-term plan, it has worked in the favor of movies to bring the audience in large numbers and spread the word of mouth which is super positive. ## The second-day collection of the movie is an indication that it has managed to draw the attention of moviegoers but the real game begins on Monday. The opening, however, is largely fueled by the highly discounted ticket prices, an uncommon strategy adopted to bring the audience to cinemas in large numbers. ## The strategy of giving massive discounts on tickets has expectedly worked in the favor of the movie as early estimates suggest opening in the range of 11-11.50 crores net collection. It might go higher which needs to be seen by tomorrow morning. It stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, a Sinhalese-born Rajput queen, wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a perfect action thriller, and in this process, the director has shot multiple climax scenes to keep the secrecy. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, three climaxes of the film have been shot and one of them will be locked in the final edit which is known to only the ones in the top tier of filmmaking. "Since Deva is a thriller about a murder that has taken place, it's crucial to avoid leaks.
