Shahid Kapoor's Action Thriller Film With Director Vishal Bhardwaj Gets A Release Date; Full Cast Details Also Revealed

Mumbai, December 18 - Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is reuniting with director Vishal Bhardwaj for an action thriller film, not titled yet. The movie is to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and the official announcement of the same was made on Wednesday, December 18. ## Announcing the film, the production house unveiled the entire main cast which includes Triptii Dimri as the female lead with Randeep Hooda and Nana Patekar in the prominent roles. The makers also confirmed that the shoot of this untitled film will start on January 6 and it will be released in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2025. ## The upcoming film marks Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj's third film together after critically acclaimed Haider and Kaminey. The film is reportedly based on the life of gangster Hussain Ustara which was earlier supposed to be made with the late Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone. ## Meanwhile, Shahid will next be seen in the cop action thriller Deva, which is scheduled to be released on January 31, 2025. 'Sikandar' Teaser To Be Out On Salman Khan's Birthday

Mumbai, December 16 - Superstar Salman Khan's much-awaited action drama Sikandar is set to unleash at the box office on Eid 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, it is one of the biggest Bollywood films of the next year. ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the makers will release the teaser of Sikandar on Salman Khan's birthday, December 27. The teaser is currently being edited and is expected to be action-packed and entertaining on a huge scale. ## The background score is done by Santosh Narayanan, who is best known for his work in Kalki 2898 AD, among many other films. The teaser will kick-start the promotion of the film leading to its release on Eid in March 2025. The trailer of the film was launched on launched on December 9 and it received a fantastic response. ## The 3-minute-plus long action-packed trailer scored a huge 79+ million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. On YouTube alone, the trailer generated 52+ million real-time views, making it the most-watched Hindi trailer of the year on the first full day. ## It has beaten the viewership of Ajay Devgn's Singham Again which also scored around 52 million on YouTube in the first 24 hours. Mumbai, December 10 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar reunited with director Priyadarshan for a horror comedy film titled Bhooth Bangla. The movie was recently announced officially with the first look poster. Akshay's Cape of Good Films and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures are producing it. ## On December 10, Tuesday, Akshay took to social media and shared a new poster announcing that the shoot of Bhooth Bangla has commenced today. The 2-part epic has officially been confirmed to be headlined by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi and Goddess Sita and Yash as Lankesh. ## Bollywood star Sunny Deol, who had long been rumoured to be part of this epic as Lord Hanuman, has officially confirmed himself on board. At the third edition of SCREEN Live in Mumbai, Sunny revealed he is part of the project and shared some insights into it.## The Gadar 2 star lauded and hyped the vision of the makers of Ramayana which he believes is going to be a great film. "Ramayana is a long project because they're trying to make it the way Avatar and Planet of the Apes movies were made. The writer and director are very clear about the way it has to be and how the characters should be presented", Sunny said, per Indian Express.## The visual effects of Ramayana are being done by, who is also one of the producers with Yash, Namit Malhotra's Oscar-winning studio DNEG, and according to Sunny, the CGI will give the impression of complete genuinelity. ## "You will also get to see the special effects that will make you believe that it (the events unfolding) has very genuinely happened rather than making one feel that these are special effects. Mumbai, December 9 - Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has created history at the Hindi box office as it has become the first film of all time to score 100 crores gross in a single day after achieving this feat on its first Sunday (4th day).## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 minted approximately 100+ crores gross (85 crores net) on Sunday which pushed its total Hindi collection to 285+ crores net after the 4-day extended opening weekend. This also marks the record opening weekend in Hindi, beating Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan which minted approximately 252 crores net. ## Pushpa 2 has also clocked a record single-day collection in Maharashtra with 20+ crores net collection and in Gujarat with 13+ crores net collection on its first Monday. These are unheard numbers and coming from a dubbed version makes them even more unbelievable.## The film has started on a strong note in the morning shows on its first Monday with solid pre-sales for the rest of the day. He has already lined up the sequel to Pati, Patni Aur Woh and potentially Aashiqui 3 as well. ## At a time when sequels to successful films have almost become a guarantee of emerging hits, Kartik has reportedly started talks with filmmaker Luv Ranjan, with whom he has worked on 4 films, to make the second part of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which was a huge success for the duo in 2018. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Kartik and Luv Ranjan have initiated talks for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, with plans to start filming in the second half of 2025. It is said that Ranjan pitched the idea for SKTKS 2 recently and it was approved by the actor immediately. ## Ranjan is currently writing the screenplay for the second part of this romantic comedy, however, it is not yet confirmed whether it will be the continuation of the first part or will completely be a new story. Things are expected to get clear after the final draft is ready. ## Kartik will next start Pati, Patni Aur Woh with director Mudassar Aziz, and will follow it up with Aashiqui 3.
