Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' Locks Diwali 2024 Release

Mumbai, June 14 - Director Rohit Shetty and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn have locked the Diwali 2024 release date for his highly-awaited action drama Singham Again after postponing it from Independence Day weekend. The makers announced the new date a day after Ajay Devgn confirmed the movie wouldn't make it to the August 15 deadline. ## Produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez with Reliance Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Devgn Films, Singham Again was supposed to clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule on this Independence Day weekend but now both movies have been pushed back, however, new release date of Pushpa 2 is not yet locked. ## Singham 3 will now clash with Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is already scheduled for Diwali release. It is the fifth instalment of Shetty's Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). ## The movie stars Ajay Devgn in the title role alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Mumbai, June 13 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has confirmed the rumours about the postponement of the highly-anticipated action drama Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor said that the shoot of the movie is still pending and the team is not eyeing the already announced date. ## Ajay Devgn was speaking at the trailer launch event of his upcoming romantic thriller, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, which is scheduled to release on July 5. When asked about the status of Singham 3, the actor said that he doesn't think the movie will be ready by August 15. ## "I am not sure (about the release date). The work on the film, which kicked off earlier, has not been completed yet and a few portions of the shoot are pending as well. We do not want to release the film in a hurry because that often ruins it. So when it is read, we will release it then", the actor said. ## Even though the makers haven't made the official announcement of Singham 3 postponement, the news was almost confirmed with other movies occupying the Independence Day weekend date. Power Star Pawan Kalyan To Be The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, June 12 - Telugu superstar turned politician, Pawan Kalyan scored a historic win as Jana Sena party chief in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections where his party was in the NDA alliance which secured the win on 164 out of 175 seats.## On Wednesday (June 12), Pawan Kalyan took oath as one of Andhra Pradesh's cabinet ministers as the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu will hold the Chief Ministerial post. As per reports, Pawan Kalyan will be the deputy chief minister of the state. ## Kalyan was elected from the Pithapuram assembly constituency in the East Godavari district while his party won 21 out of 21 seats in the Assembly elections along with both seats it contested for Lok Sabha elections with a 100% strike rate. ## Pawan Kalyan founded a political party named Jana Sena Party on 14 March 2014 and he finally broke through the state's assembly a decade later as one of the most powerful leaders of the Andhra politics. ## Meanwhile, apart from politics, PK is also active in cinema as he has multiple films in the pipeline. He will next be seen in the gangster drama, OG which is scheduled to release next year. Jr. NTR's 'Devara' Release Preponed?

Hyderabad, June 12 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is announced for October 10, 2024, release on the occasion of Dushera. Several other films are also eyeing this festival spot, including superstar Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan and now, there is a twist in Devara release plans. ## According to the Telugu media reports, the makers are planning to prepone the release of Devara on September 27. It is learned that power star Pawan Kalyan's OG, which was announced to release on September 27, has reportedly been postponed to the next year. ## September 27 is also not a straightforward date as Dulquer Salmaan's Lucky Bhaskar is already scheduled on this date while there are rumours that Ravi Teja's Mr Bachchan is also eyeing the same date. The shoot of Devara, meanwhile, is currently happening in Goa and the makers will make the formal announcement regarding the possible new date soon. ## Devara is directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Kosaraju Harikrishna under the banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts.
