Hyderabad, June 30 - A day after India's cricket World Cup glory, Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD is running riot and is potentially looking to score the second big day if not the biggest at the domestic box office in its short run so far. ## To understand the mass rampage Kalki 2898 AD is having today, it has crossed the peak hourly sold ticket count of superstar Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Jawan to create a new record on the ticketing platform, Book My Show. Last year, Jawan peaked with 86K tickets sold in a single hour on BMS, and now, Kalki has become the first movie to top 90K hourly peak count and is likely to top 100K during the day. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic has already earned around 370 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office in the first three days, and it will surely top 500 crores at the end of its 4-day opening weekend to become only the 6th Indian movie to do in the first weekend. ## Earlier yesterday, sold 1.28 million tickets on BMS which is a record since the platform started reporting ticket count on its app, and it seems, Sunday will be even bigger. ## The movie is produced by C. The music video was released through Lisa's own Lebal Lloud and RCA Records on June 28, 2024. ## Rockstar garnered around 33 million views on YouTube which is the highest for any K-Pop act in 2024 in the first 24 hours. The music video currently has 35+ million views on the video streaming platform. Lisa first hinted at Rockstar at the beginning of June when she launched her TikTok account. ## Lisa's TikTok account set a Guinness World Record for gaining a million followers in just two hours and 18 minutes. The Thai Rapper and actress then teased the song's title in the second TikTok post with the distant refrain, "Baby, I'm a rock star". After scripting box office history with Gadar 2, Sunny recently announced his maiden collaboration with the Telugu director a mass entertainer, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. ## The shoot of the film kicked off on June 22 in Hyderabad, and according to the report by Pinkvilla, the movie has been titled, Jatt. "The team has derived the title from the script as Sunny Deol's character has the traits of being a Jatt. It's a larger-than-life heroic character for Sunny Deol and he is donning a special look of a light beard and a moustache for the same", says the report. ## In a recent interview, the Veera Simha Reddy director revealed Sunny Deol's character details and said that the actor plays the role of a one-man army, taking on a powerful villain. The filmmaker further revealed that the story of the movie is inspired by multiple real-life incidents which the audience will love when they watch it. ## Jatt will be filmed for three months and Sunny will call it a wrap by September before jumping to epic Ramayana, in which he is playing Lord Hanuman and Border 2 where he reprises his role as Major Kuldeep Singh from the first movie. Suriya's 'Kanguva' Release Date Locked

Chennai, June 27 - Tamil star Suriya's much-awaited pan India movie Kanguva with director Siva has locked Dusshera 2024 release. The movie also stars Disha Patani as the female lead and Bobby Deol as the antagonist in their Tamil debut. ## The fantasy action film will be released worldwide on October 10, 2024, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada language. It will clash with Alia Bhatt's Jigra and Shahid Kapoor's Deva which are already slated for the same weekend. Kanguva is produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, and it is one of the costliest Tamil movies ever. Director Shankar Reveals Reason Behind Splitting Indian 2 In Two Parts

Chennai, June 26 - Legendary Kamal Haasan returns as Senapathy to fight corruption in the country in the sequel to his 1996 film, Indian. Directed by S. Shankar, the first of the two-part Indian 2 is set to hit screens on July 12 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. ## Originally, Indian 2 was planned as a single movie but the makers have now split it into two parts. At the trailer launch event on June 25, director Shankar and Kamal Haasan talked about the reasons behind splitting the movie into two parts. ## While Kamal Haasan revealed that bringing the film in 2 parts was purely director Shankar's decision as he was the right man to judge his script, the director said that the decision was taken due to the demand of the script which is lengthy and goes from regional to pan India. ## Shankar explained that the story of the film, which is based on corruption, revolves around just 1 state in Indian 2 but as the story spreads all over the country, it became important to tell this in another part, which is Indian 3. The first part is over 3 hours long. ## "Our initial idea was to do only one part. After I started filming and when I sat in the editing room, all the scenes from my point of view came out very well. If, for the sake of it, you have to make it in one part, if I compressed the whole thing, the soul of every scene, the feel of every scene would have been lost". Shankar clarified (via Times of India).## Kamal Haasan, meanwhile, appreciated the hard work put in by director Shankar and Lyca Productions to stay with the film despite many hurdles. In case you don't know, Indian 2 has been in the making since 2019, but the production was halted due to an accident in 2020 while filming that killed some crew members before the COVID-19 pandemic put a further dent. The filming was finally wrapped up in March 2024. ## The movie stars Kamal Haasan, reprising his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption, with Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani and Nedumudi Venu in the ensemble cast. ## Indian 3 will be released in early 2025.## Stay tuned...

In July 2023, Maddock Films officially confirmed the movie and now, there is an update on the same. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, national crush Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead in Vampires of Vijay Nagar which will be directed by Aditya Satpodar whose directorial, Munjya is currently playing in theatres at the back of Superhit box office collection. ## Previously, there were rumours that Samantha Ruth Prabhu would play the female lead but there was no reliable update on the same. The upcoming movie marks Rashmika and Ayushmann's first film together and also, it is the first for them with director Aditya Satpodar. ## Vampires of Vijay Nagar will be a part of Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe which kicked off with Stree in 2018, followed by Roohi, Bhediya, and Munjya. Stree 2 is the next film in this series, followed by VOV which is currently in the scripting stage and will soon go into pre-production. It will go on floors by November this year. ## Ayushmann Khurrana is currently doing Karan Johar's yet untitled spy comedy and he will next start shooting for Border with Sunny Deol in the lead.
