Puneeth Rajkumar Fans Urge CMO Karnataka To Withdraw Its Order Of Reducing Seating Cap In Theaters
Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar's film "Yuvarathnaa" was released on April 2nd in theaters. The movie got a thrilling response at the box office and roars with 10.05 crores gross opening. Looking at the positive words of mouth and enthusiasm of fans, Yuvarathnaa was all set to carry the momentum throughout the first week. However, the decision of reducing seating capacity in cinemas by the Karnataka government will surely dent Yuvarathnaa's collection going forward. ## On Friday, the chief minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa announced that theaters in the state will run with 50% of seating capacity amid the rising of covid-19 cases in the state and all over the country. This decision came at a time when theatrical business is on a recovery path after going through a tough period of lockdown. ## The fans of Puneeth Rajkumar expressed their disappointment over this decision and now, urging the chief minister to withdraw his order to allow a 100% seating cap again in order to save cinemas and livelihood depend upon them. The fans took to Twitter and started a trend, #WeWant100PercentOccupancy, and tagged CMO Karnataka and other concerned people. ## #Wewant100percentOccupancy #Yuvarathnaa #Roberrt Bad decission from goverment..@BSYBJP Plz change ur decission and allow 100 percent..Theater owners are taking all precautions and sanitize the theater after a show..with 1000 seats..In rally there would be lakhs of people?— Sarthak (@Sarthak69650189) April 2, 2021 ## We'll wear masks and take our precautions.@BSYBJP @CMofKarnataka #SaveCinema#WeWant100PercentOccupancy#Yuvarathnaa pic.twitter.com/6NcglUyIBN— ಶಿವು ಅಡ್ಡ™ | shivuaDDa (@shivuaDDa) April 2, 2021 ## A human can be healthy when he is clam mentally.
