The lyrical video of the first single has received a positive response and crossed 16 million views on YouTube. ## Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar is a fiery dance number, which has Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan setting the dance floor on fire with their peerless style and classy steps. The song was released in Telugu and Hindi with the Telugu version trending on YouTube. ## The Telugu version of Thaar Maar has so far gained 9.7 million views while the Hindi version has also crossed 7 million views on YouTube. The movie has been snubbed by the Indian jury as India's official Oscar entry but the makers will push the film through the general category. The movie went on floors earlier this year, however, things are getting slowed on the progress of the movie as director Shankar is simultaneously started working on his long-awaited "Indian 2" with Kamal Haasan. ## "Indian 2" went on floors a long time back but the shoot was paused after an accident on the set. It recently resumed in Chennai and now, reports say Shankar wants to finish this movie quickly. According to Telugu media reports, Ram Charan is not happy with Shankar's divided attention towards "RC15", hence he is looking to start a new film. ## According to the Great Andhra report, Ram Charan had met with several directors to set up a new project. Kannada director Narthan is one of the directors Ram Charan met to discuss a script. 'RRR' US Distributor Variance Films To Run Best Picture Oscar Campaign For The Movie

Mumbai, September 20 - The Film Federation of India has picked the acclaimed Gujarati film Chhello Show (Last Film Show) for India's official entry for Oscars 2023. ## The news about India's official Oscar entry has left many movie fans in India disappointed as they were hoping that SS Rajamouli's globally appreciated film RRR would get the nod from the Indian jury. The movie, however, can still get an Oscar nomination in the general category, and the USA distributor of the film, Variance Films will be running a campaign for the same. ## Variance Films president Dylan Marchetti said that "RRR" will receive a significant Best Picture campaign, but he also saw the potential for Best Original Song ("Naatu Naatu"), in addition to cinematography, production design, editing, and many other categories. ## The hashtag "#RRRforOscars" has been trending on Twitter for the past week here in India. "The only thing this news changes is one less award we can go after (Best International Film)", Marchetti said, a few hours after the Indian decision was announced (via Indiewire). "There's a dozen-plus other we can go for now. This film is the whole package".## "RRR" continues to play at theaters in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, with additional cities booked through the end of the year in the USA. "I don't think 'RRR' is the best movie from India this year", Marchetti said. "It's the best movie in the world this year. We're going to conduct ourselves accordingly".## Variance Films may be willing to run an Oscar campaign for the movie but it will require a significant and time-intensive push to keep the movie at the forefront of conversations for these categories as the season heats up. Toronto, September 17 - India's maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli has stressed the importance of making films by taking the essence of Hindu epics Ramayan, and Mahabharat to make the film industry strong. ## The RRR director, during the press interaction at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, said that there is a lot of emotional drama and action in the aforementioned epics and the movies on them can go beyond boundaries. ## Speaking highly about the Telugu film industry, Rajamouli said that Tollywood out of all other film industries has made more films by taking the essence of "Ramayana" and "Mahabharata". ## He further said that if the Telugu industry continues to make more films on these epics, then it needn't be restricted to only Telugu people and can go beyond the state and the country. ## Giving the example of his path-breaking film series Baahubali, Rajamouli said that it was the film that broke all barriers, and then slowly people started realizing that the Indian film industry is not all about Bollywood, but there are other industries, particularly the Tollywood. ## Lately, Bollywood too seems to have realized the importance of making films on "Ramayana" and "Mahabharta" which provide wholesome larger-than-life experiences. Currently in theaters, "Brahmastra" is based on Ancient Indian Astras, and the audience is loving it. Prabhas' 'Project K' Is A Futuristic Sci-Fi Actioner With A 'Mahabharta' Connection

Hyderabad, September 15 - Superstar Prabhas is currently working on two of the most expensive and anticipated Indian films - Adipurush and Project K. ## The "Adipurush" shoot is done and the movie is ready for release on January 12, 2023. However, director Nag Ashwin's "Project K", co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, is only half done and the remaining shoot will be completed by the first quarter of 2023. ## "Project K" is touted to be the biggest Indian action spectacle which is set in the future and revolves around the timeline of World War 3. It is a futuristic action drama on the line of the time travel concept. ## If reports are to be believed, the movie has a strong connection with the Hindu epic "Mahabharata", where Amitabh Bachchan's character is inspired by Ashwathama. In Mahabharata, Ashwathama became a Chiranjivi (immortal) due to a curse given to him by Lord Krishna.## "Project K" will reportedly have as many as 5 prolonged action blocks and in a one-of-its-kind strategy, the producers have hired multiple action directors to design the epic battle to unfold on the screen. Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen doing proper action sequences alongside Prabhas in the film. The movie is being shot like a Hollywood film with a blue and green screen set up, according to Pinkvilla. ## That's not all, every schedule of the film is followed by a break since the director Nag Ashwin, and his team is working on the editing of the sequences shot in every leg of the shoot, to make sure they create something magical that will be remembered for a long long time. ## The movie is being produced by C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies and it also stars Disha Patani in a key role. Producer Dutt recently revealed that they are planning to release the movie in either October 2023 or January 2024. The remake of the Malayalam movie "Lucifer", the upcoming film also stars Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Nayanthara in key roles. ## According to the latest reports, "Godfather" will be released by the producers themselves as Chiranjeevi has reportedly prevented them to sell the distribution rights of the movie for both domestic and overseas markets. ## "Godfather" is produced by RB Choudary and NV Prasad while the presenter is Konidela Productions banner. According to greatandhra.com, Chiranjeevi has advised the producers not to sell the film at higher prices but only release it against advances. NV Prasad is believed to be very close to Chiranjeevi and he has his own distribution network. ## Megastar Chiranjeevi's last two films - "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" and "Acharya" didn't work out at the box office.
