Bheemla Nayak Becomes First Indian Movie Of 2022 To Cross Rs. 100 Crores Net

Hyderabad, March 2 - The Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", also starring Rana Daggubati, is going bonkers at the box office despite the difficult circumstances.## Directed by Saagar K Chandra, "Bheemla Nayak" is all set to enter Rs. 100 crores net club at the Indian box office. After netting Rs. 97 crores in the first five days, the action drama film, on Tuesday, scored an estimated Rs. 5.50 crores, taking total domestic net cume to Rs. 102.50 crores. ## "Bheemla Nayak" took just 6 days to reach the box office milestone. It has already become the biggest Telugu movie released in the month of February of all time. Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" has so far grossed over Rs. 25 crores, pushing worldwide cume to approx. Rs. 145 crores. ## The film has also crossed the lifetime worldwide total of Pawan Kalyan's last movie, "Vakeel Saab", which had grossed Rs. 137.55 crores within the first week. By the end of the 2nd Friday, "Bheemla Nayak" will cross "Vakeel Saab's" India total of Rs. 127.3 crores. ## "Bheemla Nayak" is the remake of the 2020 Malayalam hit, "Ayyappanum Koshiyum". In the movie, Kalyan plays the role of SI Sarhad Bheemla Nayak while Rana Daggubati essays ex-Havildar Daniel "Danny" Shekar. It also stars Nithya Menen and Samyuktha Menon as the female leads. Mumbai, March 1 - The auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri brings joy to the Indian film industry as currently in theaters movies grow further to strengthen their position at the box office. ## Among the films released during the last weekend of February, Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak" is doing wonders at the domestic as well as overseas box office. After scoring Rs. 85.45 crores in the first 4-days, the Saagar Chandra-directed witnessed growth on Tuesday due to the partial holiday. ## As per the early estimates, the action drama film sees a jump of 16% for Rs. 9.60 crores net on Tuesday. This pushes the total domestic net collection to an estimated Rs. 95.05 crores. The movie also crosses Rs. 100 crores gross at the Indian box office. ## Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" is super strong, grossing approx. Rs. 25 crores so far. At the USA box office, the Pawan Kalyan-fronted movie has already crossed a magical milestone of $2 million. The total worldwide collection of the film currently stands at approx. Rs. 135 crores after 5 days. ## Meanwhile, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's "Valimai" couldn't get the benefit of the holiday as it continues to take a further dip at the domestic box office. On Tuesday, the action thriller drops 20% for Rs. 3.80 crores net total for all languages. It dropped big on Monday for Rs. 4.75 crores. ## The Tuesday estimated, however, takes "Valimai" past Rs. 100 crores gross in India with approx. Rs. 102 crores. Rs. 22 crores net at the Indian box office, and around Rs. 3 crores overseas. ## The romantic comedy is now gearing up for its digital release. As announced by the makers, the movie will be premiered on the Telugu OTT platform, Aha Video. Andhra Pradesh Government Warns Theatre Owners Regarding Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak'

Hyderabad, February 24 - The government of Andhra Pradesh has warned the theater owners regarding the showcasing of superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", which is slated to release on February 25. ## Ahead of the release of "Bheemla Nayak", the Andhra Pradesh government issued a notice, warning the theatre owners to follow the regulations regarding the ticket prices. Interestingly, the state government had recently reportedly promised to revise the ticket prices after the meeting with Tollywood stars. ## However, even after two weeks, the government has failed to issue new government order regarding the ticket prices, which will affect the business of "Bheemla Nayak". The theater owners have been asked to sell the tickets at old prices, which might cause a huge loss to the theatre owners, buyers, and the businessmen involved in the trade.## The state government also has issued strict orders warning the theatre owners to not allow benefit shows or special screenings of the movie in Andhra Pradesh. Even though it was made available on the OTT platform 4 weeks after its theatrical run, the Telugu action thriller continues to attract audiences in theaters, which has been a pleasing sight for the film industry. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" has truly been a trendsetter and surpassed many outright Bollywood films at the box office. While it will finish behind Akshay Kumar-fronted "Sooryavanshi" in terms of business, Pushpa, however, has beaten this Rohit Shetty-directed at one of the crucial aspects of theatrical terms, footfalls. ## "Sooryavanshi", which was released on Diwali 2021, attracted 11 million footfalls in theaters in India and did nearly Rs. 196 crores business at the box office.
