Hyderabad, December 26 - South superstar Ram Charan is eagerly waiting for the release of "RRR", due on January 7, 2022. The period action drama, directed by SS Rajamouli, is easily the most anticipated film that is waiting for its release for a long time. It also features Jr. NTR in the lead alongside Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. ## When it comes to the film's budget and remuneration of the actors, "RRR" carries a huge responsibility on that front. The movie has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs. 400 crores, making it one of the costliest films of Indian cinema. It has also been revealed that both Ram Charan and Jr. NTR are charging Rs. 45 crores each while Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt have been paid a sum of Rs. 25 crores and 9 crores, respectively. ## Meanwhile, Ram Charan, who has become one of the most bankable actors in Telugu cinema, has reportedly hiked his remuneration for the upcoming films. Nellore, December 25 - V Epiq, the largest theater screen of India, has shut down its operation due to the low ticket prices. Situated in Sullurpet, Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, the V Epiq screen is 100ft in width and 85ft in height, and is one of the largest in the world. ## It has come to the light that the V Epiq screen has suspended operations from yesterday (December 24) onwards due to Andhra Pradesh Government's restrictions on Ticket Prices. It is reported that the highest price of a movie ticket in the theater was just Rs. 35, which is among the lowest in the state. The theater owners reportedly said that they will lose more money by running it than staying shut. ## The V Epiq screen was opened on August 30, 2019, with Prabhas' starrer "Saaho". It was the third-largest screen in the world at the time of its opening. And now, the screen had to shut as it was not being able to generate enough revenue to stay open.## The situation of theaters in Andhra Pradesh is getting worst day by day as the government is looking in a revenge mood. In the last few days, the local authorities have seized as many as 50 theaters, citing several reasons. Hyderabad, December 24 - The situation of the theatrical business is getting bad to worse in Andhra Pradesh as the state government is going extremely hard and giving tough times to the theatrical releases in the state.## While the Telugu movies are already getting hit by the low ticket prices in theaters, it has now come to the light that the local authorities have seized several cinema halls, citing multiple reasons. As per reports, as many as 50 centers in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh were seized on Friday, and so were all 7 of the cinema halls in Madanapalle, Chittoor district.## The unfortunate closure of theatres in the state is badly affecting the business of Nani-starrer "Shyam Singha Roy", which hit the big screens on Friday (Dec. 24). Actor Nani is one of the Telugu actors, who has been critical of the state government for controlling the ticket prices of movies in theaters. ## Earlier, yesterday, during the media interaction, Nani called the ongoing situation "an insult" to the industry. Whatever is happening is not right. We must keep political issues separate from movie-related issues," Nani said adding, "I can't even put into words rightly. This is like laying an axe on the whole industry".## Currently, of the remaining 36 centers in the Krishna district, "Shyam Singha Roy" has been released only in six centers, which is an abnormally low count for any notable actor of Tollywood. Hyderabad, December 21 - As reported earlier, power star Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak" has officially been postponed and is out from Sankranthi 2022 race. The new release date is yet to be announced but it will most certainly be released on February 25, 2022. ## Earlier, the makers of "Bheemla Nayak" were promoting the film as Sankranthi 2022 release, but the producer's guild intervened in the issue and made the film opt for another date as it would have dented the box office potential of Pan India biggies "RRR" and "Radhe Shyam", which are slated for Jan. 7 and Jan. 14 release, respectively. ## It is said that Pawan Kalyan has agreed to the producer's guild's suggestion in the larger interest of the Telugu film industry. Directed by Saagar Chandra and written by Trivikram, the film is the official remake of the Malayalam hit, Ayyapanum Koshiyum. It also stars Rana Daggubati and Nithya Menen in key roles. ## Meanwhile, Venkatesh and Varun Tej's "F3" will now release on April 29th, 2022. It was supposed to release in Feb/March 2022. On the other hand, Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" will be released on April 1st as scheduled (as of now). Earlier, it was originally announced for January 13, 2022, but postponed to make things easy for others films. ## Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's "Acharya" will also be released as scheduled on February 4, 2022. There were speculations that it will move further, but, there is no such official development yet. Hyderabad, December 20 - Allu Arjun's action thriller, "Pushpa - The Rise" has totally justified the unprecedented hype as it crossed Rs. 150 crores mark at the worldwide box office in just 3 days. ## On Sunday (December 19), the Sukumar-directed grossed Rs. 40.20 crores at the Indian box office, adding to the 3-day opening weekend total of 129.40 crores. Overseas, the movie has grossed an estimated 20.60 crores so far, helping the global total of Rs 150 crores. ## The 3-day AP/TG share a total of "Pushpa - The Rise" also crossed Rs. 50 crores mark (Rs. 52.89 cr.), including Nizam leading the chart with Rs. 25.94 crores, followed by Ceded with Rs. 8.75 crores.
