Mumbai, January 24 - Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Pathaan is finally releasing tomorrow amid a lot of expectations. The spy action thriller has been one of the most-anticipated Bollywood films and it will release with a rock-solid advance booking collection behind it, not for just the opening day but for the entire opening weekend. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has become the highest pre-sales scorer Bollywood film of all time for the opening day as well as the opening weekend. The advance booking collection of "Pathaan" for the opening day is around 31 crores gross with over 1 million tickets sold. Mumbai, January 24 - Yash Raj Films' spy action thriller Pathaan is set to have one of the biggest releases ever for an Indian film. ## The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is expected to give a massive boost to the theatrical biz and YRF is leaving no stone unturned to give it a proper big release. As per the latest update, the actioner will be released in 100+ countries and over 7700 screens worldwide, including 2500 screens overseas. ## The film will be released on over 5200 screens in India in all three versions, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has already scored the biggest pre-sales for a Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic and now, it has scored the biggest advance sales ever for the opening weekend. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan's" advance booking for the 5-day opening weekend is around 47 crores gross (as of Jan. 23), which is the highest-ever for a Bollywood film. It has crossed Anand's own directorial "War" which had minted approx. 42 crores gross advance sales for the opening weekend in 2019. ## "Pathaan" is expected to create a run riot at the box office, at least, for the opening weekend. The opening day pre-sales for the movie are currently around 22 crores gross and it is expected to cross "War" opening day by tonight. Guwahati, January 22 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's spy action thriller Pathaan is set to big screens on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The movie, however, has been at the center of controversy, and recently, a group of people allegedly stormed into a cinema hall in Assam's Narengi on Friday, vandalizing property and burning down posters of the movie. ## Shah Rukh Khan has expressed concerns over such incidents and dialed Assam CM to look into this matter.
