Ajay Devgn Replaces Dharmendra Sharma To Direct Kaithi Hindi Remake, Bholaa

Mumbai, July 4 - Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has begun working on his 4th directorial venture, "Bholaa". The Hindi remake of the Tamil hit "Kaithi", was supposed to be directed by Dharmendra Sharma, who has now reportedly been replaced with Devgn, who is also producing and playing the lead role in the movie. ## Ajay Devgn received praise for his recent directorial, "Runway 34". The movie performed decently in theaters but has been finding appreciation off late from the audience following its premiere on the OTT platform, especially Devgn's direction. He has previously directed "U Me Aur Hum", and "Shivaay". ## The actor took to Twitter and shared the news with a photo of himself sitting behind the camera. "It's time to say ACTION again! Tabu is playing the female lead in the movie.## Bholaa is the remake of the Tamil action thriller "Kaithi", directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The original film revolves around a prisoner, played by Karthi, who comes to the aid of the police when they are attacked by a gang of smugglers. Mumbai, July 3 - Director Raj Mehta's Jugjugg Jeeyo has crossed the 100 crores mark at the worldwide box office, becoming only the fourth Bollywood movie of 2022 to do so. ## The family comedy-drama film is having an unlike other Bollywood films' run at the box office. It is, after the opening weekend, having a decent but consistent run at the domestic box office, scoring 61.44 crores net through the second Saturday (9 days). ## "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" is having a good run internationally as compared to the other movies. North America is leading its overseas charge with approx. $1.5 million, followed by Australia with $576K, and the UK with $286K. The movie is being directed by maverick S Shankar and this marks his maiden collaboration with both Ram Charan and Kiara. ## From the look at the world of the story, it was a very different journey for Kiara, who is currently enjoying the successes of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", and "Jug Jugg Jeeyo". In a recent interview with IANS, the actress opened up about her role in the movie and her working experience with director Shankar. ## "Even though I am not allowed to reveal much about the story and my character just now yet, I can say, it is a different world altogether. We know the genius Shankar sir is, he can turn any story and character larger than life. He is like a magician and working with him is a huge learning lesson for me". ## "I am like a sponge on the set, constantly observing everything happening around us. We have been shooting since November last year and I will go for our next schedule soon. Mumbai, July 1 - Director Anees Bazmee is on cloud nine, thanks to the blockbuster success of his horror-comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2". The film starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu has made over 260 crores worldwide and is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of 2022. ## According to the latest report, Anees Bazmee will be joining hands with Varun Dhawan for a comedy entertainer. Varun has been a part of some of the hit comedies and romantic comedies like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1, among others. It is said that Varun and Anees have been in talks for a while now for their maiden collaboration. ## Anees will next be directing the long-awaited sequel to "No Entry" with the original male cast reprising their roles. Once he is done with "No Entry 2", the director will reportedly start work on Varun's film. According to Pinkvilla, "They recently met and discussed the idea of teaming up on a comic caper. They will be doing the film once their current commitments are wrapped up". ## The director has himself confirmed that he is looking forward to working with Varun Dhawan and details about the project will be made official at the right time. The movie, which marks the maiden collaboration between SRK and Atlee, has Nayanthara as the female lead along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Yogi Babu, among others. ## While the movie is already looking big and solid on the casting front, the makers have now roped in Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati to play important cameos. According to Peepingmoon.com, Deepika has joined the explosive action thriller for a small but significant role. ## Deepika, who is currently shooting for Prabhas-fronted mega movie "Project K" will reportedly join the "Jawan" shoot in the Hyderabad schedule. "Deepika Padukone has a powerful character in Jawan, which features Shah Rukh in a double role as a father and son. She plays SRK's wife and features in the film's flashback sequences", per report.## Nayanthara is playing the main female lead and will be seen romancing the character of junior SRK in the movie. Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati has reportedly been roped in to play an extended cameo role and he will join the next schedule. Mumbai, June 28 - The biopic of former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in development. Producer Vinod Bhanushali and Sandeep Singh have joined hands to bring the epic life story of the late PM of India to the big screen.## The movie, titled "Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye - Atal", will be an adaptation of Penguin Random House India's book The Untold Vajpayee: Politician And Paradox by author Ullekh NP. While the cast and crew of the movie are yet to be announced, it will start shooting early next year and will be released on Christmas 2023, which will also mark the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji.## The movie will be produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan, Vishal Gurnani, and Kamlesh Bhanushali and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta, Zeeshan Ahmad, and Shivv Sharma. Basrur had also scored the BGM of Salman Khan's "Antim: The Final Truth" and it got appreciation. Mumbai, June 28 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to kickstart the shooting for his next film. He is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie "Soorarai Pottru" which is expected to wrap up in the next few days.## Akshay will next take up Pooja Entertainment and Kyta Productions' joint production "Capsule Gill", which is based on the life of former additional chief mining engineer, Jaswant Singh Gill. The movie is set against the backdrop of the 1989 Raniganj coal mining disaster during which Gill carried out a rescue operation and saved the lives of 64 workers trapped in a flooded coal mine. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, the shooting of the film will commence on July 4th in the UK. "The pre-production and all have been completed and the team will fly to the UK on June 29th". Akshay will reportedly shoot there till July 31st and then return to India for the promotion of Raksha Bandhan. He will resume shooting for this film in September in Mumbai, followed by two short schedules in Raigarh and Raniganj later this year, per report.## "Capsule Gill" will be directed by Suresh Desai and it will feature Parineeti Chopra as the female lead opposite Akshay. It will mark their second film together after "Kesari". Meanwhile, the makers have reportedly brought an ensemble supporting cast on board the movie. ## The same report states that the movie will feature Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Ravi Kishan in key roles along with Virendra Saxena, Varun Badola, Rajesh Sharma, and Ananth Mahadevan. Parineeti will reportedly play Akshay's wife in the movie.
