Mumbai, August 18 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is reportedly in talks to headline Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj's next film and it will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.## According to Aakashavaani, the film in question is confirmed and the official announcement can be expected soon. It will be a Pan India movie and is expected to start rolling next year after the duo of Aamir and Lokesh complete their ongoing projects.## Aamir is the latest in the famous Khan trio to collaborate with a South Indian director. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan teamed with director Atlee for the action thriller Jawan which was a monstrous box office blockbuster. Salman Khan is also shooting for director A.R. Mumbai, August 17 - Maddock Films and Jio Studios' horror-comedy Stree 2 has topped the 100 crores net collection and become the fastest Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat, reaching the milestone in less than 3 days.## Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the blockbuster sequel scored approximately 91.70 crores net in the first 2 days, including previews. On its third day (first Saturday), it scored an estimated 43+ crores net and with that, the movie has crossed the 100 crore mark, becoming the 4th Bollywood movie and 10th Indian movie of the year to do so.## Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the 7th film of Shraddha Kapoor and the second for Rajkummar Rao (after Stree) to top 100 crores net collection. For director Amar Kaushik, it is his 3rd 100 crores net scorer after Stree and Bala. Mumbai, August 14 - The highly-anticipated horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the leading roles, is all set to explode at the box office this Independence Day weekend, thanks to the extraordinary pre-sales for the weekend.## The movie is a part of producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Supernatural Universe and is the sequel to 2018's film Stree. Apart from the well-received teaser/trailer and songs, being a sequel to the blockbuster movie is proving to be a massive advantage for Stree 2 and the same is being reflected in the advance sales.## The advance booking of Stree 2 for the opening day is already the highest of 2024 in Hindi by a long margin and is looking to score one of the biggest pre-sales for a non-superstar title.
