Hyderabad, September 30 - After the superb opening weekend of approximately 190 crores gross, superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 witnessed the first major drop of over 60% on its first Monday which was a working day. ## In Telugu states, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 7-8 crore on its 4th day, as per estimates while in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is expected to score 2 crore gross. It is once again the North belt which is holding well as the movie is expected to gross 5-6 crores in this region. ## The dubbed Hindi version of Devara has a good hold for an estimated 3.50-4 crores net collection. Hyderabad, September 29 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 clocked in a huge approximately 190 crores gross in its domestic opening weekend after the superb first Sunday collection with a decent jump over Saturday figures. ## In Telugu states, Devara showed a good hold on Sunday with a slight jump for an estimated 26 crores gross. In Karnataka, the movie is expected to gross in the range of 5.50-6 crore while in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, around 2.50 crore gross is expected. ## It was once again the Hindi belt which witnessed a jump as word of mouth continued to spread in mass centres. Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 13 crores in North India as the Hindi version is looking to score 10.50-11 crores net with a good jump of over 15% from Saturday. ## Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 47-48 crores (40+ crores net) on its third day/first Sunday at the domestic box office in all versions. Mumbai, September 29 - The second inning of folk horror comedy Tumbbad continues to get longer at the box office despite the competition. The movie has a good third-weekend collection which takes its total to around 50 crores gross (including the original run). ## Tumbbad re-released had an increased competition this weekend in the form of Jr. NTR-fronted Devara - Part 1 which was easily the number 1 at the Hindi box office. Despite that, the Rahi Anil Barve's directorial has done well to score around 2.60 crores net collection in the third weekend. ## On its third Friday, the movie minted approximately 55 lakh before jumping on Saturday for around 1 crore net. Tumbbad is having a good Sunday with approximately 1.10 crore net collection, pushing the total re-release cume of the movie to around 27+ crore net (32+ crore gross) in 17 days. ## Including the film's original collection of 16 crores gross (13.50 crores net), Tumbbad's worldwide gross total stands at 48+ crores gross (40.50+ crores net). Chennai, September 29 - Thalapathy Vijay's action thriller The Greatest of All Time has slowed down at the box office, but not before emerging as a success and creating an all-time record in the home state, Tamil Nadu.## Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT has become the highest-grossing movie in Tamil Nadu, beating Thalapathy Vijay's Leo which grossed approximately 215+ crores in the state. It has crossed Leo's collection on its 25th day (4th Sunday). ## On its 4th Thursday (22nd day), The GOAT outgrossed Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1's 213 crores gross collection in the state. It has been a sensational blockbuster in Tamil Nadu as well as the overseas box office despite the mixed reviews. ## The AGS Entertainment production has grossed 448 crores at the worldwide box office, including approximately 292.25 crores in India and 155.75 crores overseas through 4th Saturday (24 days). Hyderabad, September 28 - After the sensational opening day, Jr. NTR-fronted action drama Devara: Part 1 scored a good hold on its first Saturday with a drop of around 50% which is expected for a South Indian movie with massive opening. ## On its second day, Devara is estimated to gross 26-27+ crores in Telugu states while 6-7 crore gross is expected in Karnataka and 2.50-3 crores is from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Amid the expected drop in South Indian states, the North India belt witnessed a jump as Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 11-12 crores in this region. ## The Hindi version of the movie is turning out to be a surprise box office success. After the good opening day of 7.50 crores net, the dubbed version scored a jump of 15-20% on Saturday for an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection.## Overall, Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 47-48 crores (40 crores net) on its second day at the domestic box office which is a fantastic collection. Hyderabad, September 28 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's Devara: Part 1 was released on September 27 and took an excellent opening of 145 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, including approximately 98 crore gross in India and 47 crore gross overseas. ## While the worldwide opening of Devara is the 6th biggest for an Indian movie, it performed exceptionally well in 2 Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) to score the second biggest start there, behind only RRR, which also starred Jr. NTR with Ram Charan. ## Devara grossed an estimated 74.30 crores in AP-TG on its first day, behind RRR which scored over 100 crores gross collection in Telugu states. The latest blockbuster has beaten Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire's 67 crores, and Kalki 2898 AD's 66 crore AP/TG opening day totals. ## Devara: Part 1 is the second biggest Indian opener of 2024, behind Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD which grossed approximately 178 crore gross. Los Angeles, September 28 - Tom Hardy-led superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up for the release on October 25 as the last film of the Venom franchise. The movie is directed by Kelly Marcel and is a part of Sony's Spider-Man universe. ## With under a month to go before the release, Venom: The Last Dance is tracking to be the biggest opener in the franchise. According to the projection by Box Office Pro, Venom 3 is headed towards taking the opening of $80 million - $120 million at the domestic opening weekend. ## The first two films of this anti-hero franchise opened with approximately $10 million apart - $80.20 million for 2018's Venom and $90 million for 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Venom 3, as per the early projections, is in the position to take the biggest start of the franchise and it can do it with a fair margin. ## Both, Venom and Venom - Let There Be Carnage finished their domestic run with an almost identical total of $213.51 million and $213.55 million, respectively. In India, the movie grossed approximately 98 crores (82.50 crores net) collection while the overseas collection is an estimated 47 crores, including premieres. ## Devara has taken one of the biggest openings in Telugu states with approximately 74 crores gross. Hyderabad, September 27 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has set the box office on fire to score one of the biggest openings for an Indian movie at the domestic box office, and by far the biggest solo start for the actor. ## The movie recorded sensational pre-sales which led to the foundation of a monstrous start and after the early morning and midnight shows, where it scored decent word of mouth, Devara was unstoppable throughout the day with excellent occupancies, especially in Telugu states. ## According to early estimates, Devara is looking to gross 70+ crore in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) which is easily one of the biggest starts there. In Karnataka, the movie is expected to gross in the range of 10-11 crores and an estimated 2.50 crore gross is expected in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. ## Devara surprises in the Hindi belt with the better-than-expected opening. Mumbai, September 27 - One of the biggest Bollywood films of the year, director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the title role is set to get a wide release across international territories in November this year.## According to Variety, Phars Film (PHF) has acquired overseas rights for this cop action thriller which also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. ## Phars Film has teamed with Moviegoers Entertainment to orchestrate the film's rollout across international territories, excluding the Middle East, which PHF will handle directly. Mumbai, September 27 - Director Rahi Anil Barve's folk horror thriller Tumbbad re-release has had a fantastic second week at the domestic box office as the movie continued to perform above expectations and remained over or around 1 crore net mark throughout the week. ## The movie scored approximately 11.50 crores net collection in the second week, dropping just under 15% from the first week's total of 13.15 crores net. The total re-release collection of the film after two weeks (14 days) is around 24.50 crores net (29 crore gross). ## Tummbad re-release has earned around 2X of its original collection (13.50 crores net) which is indeed a big achievement for a 6-year-old critically acclaimed film.
