Mumbai, July 9 - Kalki 2898 AD continues to put a solid show at the Hindi box office is approaching 250 crores net sooner than expected. The movie had a solid hold on the second Monday despite the weather challenges for approximately 6.50 crores net. ## The Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic is showing a drop of around 10% on its second Tuesday (13th day) for an estimated 5.50-6 crores net, pushing the total Hindi collection to 224.50+ crores in 13 days. The second week is heading for +/- 72 crores net which will take its 2 weeks total collection to around 235 crores. ## Kalki 2898 AD will enter the 250 crores net club in its third weekend in Hindi and depending on how the new releases perform, it will look to get nearer SS Rajamouli's RRR (272.80 crores net approx.) by the end of the third week before crossing it to become the third biggest South Indian grosser in Hindi. ## In all versions, Kalki 2898 AD is expected to score an estimated 10.50+ crores gross collection on its second Tuesday which will take its total domestic gross to around 630 crores in 13 days. Mumbai, July 8 - Pan India superstar Prabhas once again proved his box office strength beyond the local Telugu market with his sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD which has become the highest-grossing film of 2024 in Hindi at the domestic box office. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the epic blockbuster has crossed Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-fronted Fighter which minted approximately 212.80 crores net collection earlier this year. Kalki scored around 212.50 crores net through the second Sunday (11 days) and with the first show on the second Monday, it surpassed Fighter. ## Kalki 2898 AD is the fourth South Indian film ever after Baahubali 2 (511 crores net approx.), KGF: Chapter 2 (435 crores net approx.), and RRR (272.75 crores net approx.), and the second for Prabhas after BB2 to cross 200 crores in the Hindi version. ## Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki is also the only second movie of the year to top 200 crores net in Hindi as the third biggest Hindi grosser of 2024 is Ajay Devgn's horror-thriller Shaitaan which minted approximately 148.25 crores net upon its March release. Mumbai, July 7 - With one eye on the ultimate milestone of 1000 crores gross, Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has crossed 750 crores at the worldwide box office in just 10 days, the first Indian movie to do so since Ranbir Kapoor's Animal in December last year. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki witnessed a jump of over 100% to gross around 40 crores at the domestic box office on its second Saturday while the worldwide collection for the day was over 50 crores gross to take the total global cume to around 760 crores in 10 days. ## In India, the film has grossed an estimated 555 crores while overseas collection is 205 crores in 10 days so far. The overall jump for all versions is over 100% which speaks a lot about the acceptance of the movie among the general audience. ## The Hindi version of the movie was breathing fire today as it scored an estimated 18-19 crore net and it could go a little higher depending on the single screens. It scored an estimated 25+ crores gross on its second Friday (9th day).## Kalki 2898 AD is the second film of Prabhas after Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion to top this box office milestone. The film is directed by The Railway Man director Shiv Rawail. ## The movie has been in the news since last year and now, on July 5, Yash Raj Films has announced the official title with a voice teaser and also confirmed the shooting commencement. ## In the teaser, Alia Bhatt can be heard saying, "The first letter of the Greek alphabet... and our program's motto - the first, the fastest, the strongest. Mumbai, July 4 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has become the actor's second highest-grossing film at the worldwide box office, after topping SS Rajamouli's directorial Baahubali on its 8th day of run. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic grossed approximately 641 crores worldwide in the first 7 days, and with its 8th day's collection (2nd Thursday), the movie has topped Baahubali - The Beginning which grossed an estimated 650 crores worldwide in 2015. ## Kalki 2898 AD has been on a dream run since its debut on June 27. It became only the 6th Indian movie ever to score 500+ crores worldwide gross collection in the opening weekend and will end the extended first week total to around 675 crores. ## As has been the case with Prabhas' recent films, the Hindi version has once again delivered for the actor and added immense value to the overall collection. Mumbai, July 4 - Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated superhero movie Deadpool and Wolverine hits three weeks box office projections which indicate the record-breaking opening for the movie, not only of the year but also for an R-rated title ever. ## According to Deadline (which quoted three-week-in-advance box office tracking services), Deadpool 3 is tracking to open, at least, $160 million - $165 million in its three-day opening weekend (July 26-28) at the North American box office. It will be the biggest start of the year, beating Inside Out 2 ($154.2 million). ## The $160 million - $165 million opening projections could be conservative as a tracking report from tracking service Quorum, projected $200+ million start, and per Deadline, the agency is still sticking to its numbers. Even if Deadpool & Wolverine isn't as sharp as that projection, it's still bound for a fantastic start. ## As said, Deadpool 3 is aiming at the biggest R-rated debut domestically, given the projection stands. The first Deadpool movie made history by opening to $132.40 million domestically in February 2016, which is still the biggest R-rated box office debut. Deadpool 2, released in May 2018, debuted at $125.5 million.## As reported recently, the pre-sales of Deadpool 3 broke the first-day record of 2024 and probably has the highest advance sales so far for any movie of the year.
