Mumbai, September 14 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's cameo appearance in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva left the fans wanting more of his character. The fans have been trending on social media and running campaigns for the spin-off of SRK's character as Mohan Bharghav, a scientist who wielded Vanar Astra. ## Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in the film has the potential to be made into a full-fledged spin-off film or series and now, director Ayan Mukerji has an exciting piece of news regarding the same. During a recent interview with Indian Express, Ayan shared that they were already exploring the ideas to spin off SRK's character to tell the origin story of the scientist. ## Asked about fans' demands for a spin-off, which includes an online petition, Ayan said, "Before the fans were saying it, we were also saying that ourselves. When we were shooting the sequence in 2019, we were also saying on sets. As we discovered the personality of the scientist, we said, 'Yaar, we have to do stuff. We have to do the origins story of the scientist!'"## The director further said that his team also agreed to his idea of doing the spin-off of the character. "We are already thinking about it. We are hearing everything and are planning our next moves", he added. ## The solo "Brahmastra" film on Shah Rukh Khan's character might not happen anytime soon as the makers have the second and third part of the planned trilogy to make. "Brahmastra Part Two: Dev" is expected to begin later this year. Meanwhile, the fans of SRK are on a treat as the superstar is bracing for his first full-fledged role in more than 4 years in the upcoming Yash Raj Films' Pathaan, which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023. Mumbai, September 13 - Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has crossed 150 crores net for all languages, becoming the 40th Bollywood film of all time to do so. ## After a record-breaking opening weekend, the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer is witnessing a good hold over the crucial weekdays. It scored an estimated 13 crores net on its first Tuesday, which takes its total collection to approx. 154 crores net after 5 days. At the worldwide box office, the movie has crossed 250 crores gross, including Tuesday's total. ## The Hindi version of the movie has been the best performing with an estimated 138.3 crores net in five days, followed by the Telugu version with 12 crores approx. Reportedly, the movie has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time in the dubbed South languages. ## "Brahmastra" is currently the 40th highest-grossing straight Hindi movie, and overall, it is the 44th biggest Hindi grosser of all time at the domestic box office. According to Bollywood Hungama, producer Firoz Nadiadwala, who has produced films like Hera Pheri and Welcome, has finally decided to make a film on Mahabharta.## The report says that the producer has started work on Mahabharat and aims to make it the most visually stunning film ever in Indian cinema. The post-production will take a couple of years more and reportedly, it will go on floors by 2025. The report further said that the budget for the movie is expected to be more than Rs. 700 crores.## It is said that the "Mahabharta" movie will be the first Indian film to be shot in 5D! It's expected to be so novel and exciting that audiences would throng the cinema halls in hordes worldwide, and not just in India. Meanwhile, Netflix is planning to follow in the footsteps of MCU regarding Stranger Things. ## Series executive producer and director Shawn Levy said that he working on the idea of creating a Stranger Things Cinematic Universe (STCU). ## "Yes, we are building out the STCU, and now that I'm spending time with Kevin Feige, I'm learning a lot about how to manage a universe", Levy said in an interview with Variety. "So I'm taking those skills and applying them to the STCU". ## ICYDK, Levy has been hired to direct the next installment in the Deadpool franchise and has been working with Marvel boss Kevin Feige on the upcoming movie. However, Thanos and his forces wiped out after Tony Stark aka Iron Man famously gave his life to save the universe. ## However, Jim Starlin, who created Thanos in the '70s and is known for his work with both Marvel and DC, believes that the famous Marvel villain may return in future MUC films. He spoke to Inverse about Marvel Studios' use of Thanos in their movies. ## Starlin said that Marvel is yet to be done with Thanos and shared his confidence that fans will see him again on-screen. "Well, I think he probably hits a nerve. He raises questions that a number of us have thought about. He's also just a badass character. I don't think anybody thinks we've seen the last of him. Disney made a shitload of money off of him and there's probably a shitload of money still to be made. So my fingers are crossed". ## Since Marvel is exploring the multiverse concept, the writer and artist discussed how it could pave the way for the possibility of bringing back Thanos. "I've heard Marvel may want to use some other characters I've done. I think they're running out. Now that they've got this multiverse, there's the possibility of bringing back Thanos. And with Thanos, that opens up possibilities for other characters. Hyderabad, September 13 - Natural star Nani is shooting for his period action drama film Dasara, which is touted to be the most expensive film of his career. ## Directed by Srikanth Odela, "Dasara" is set against the backdrop of Telangana and Nani took the film as a challenge as he is playing an out-and-out rugged character. He is also mouthing dialogues in a Telangana accent for the first time.## "Dasara" is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated Telugu films and it is already fetched huge offers from exhibitors for its theatrical and non-theatrical rights. Recently, it was reported that the makers of the film have sold the non-theatrical rights of the movie for 45 crores, which is the highest ever for Nani's film.## According to the latest reports, the makers have also sold the theatrical rights for a record price.
