Tips Announces Sequel To 2003's Hit 'Ishq Vishk', Titled 'Ishq Vishk Rebound'

Mumbai, June 2 - Last year, it was reported that the sequel to Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's 2003 coming-of-age romcom "Ishq Vishk" is in the development at Tips Films studio. On Thursday (June 2), Tips officially confirmed the sequel, titled "Ishq Vishk Rebound" and shoot for the same has already commenced. ## "Ishq Vishk", directed by Ken Ghosh, marked Shahid Kapoor's acting debut and it made him an overnight star. Shahid pairing with Amrita Rao was much loved and appreciated after which the duo went on to do three more movies together, including the blockbuster "Vivah". ## "Ishq Vishk Rebound", which is being directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, stars a fresh ensemble cast, Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grewal in prominent roles. The original movie also featured Vishal Malhotra and Shenaz Treasury. ## Tips took to Twitter and announced the second installment of the movie. Virginia, June 2 - The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor Johnny Depp has won a multimillion defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, by a Virginia jury. ## The Virginia jury found that Heard's 2018 article against Depp, published in The Washington Post, was defamatory and ordered her to pay a whopping $15 million to Depp. The actor was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, which was cut by Judge Penney Azcarate to Virginia's statutory cap of $350,000, according to The Hollywood Reporter.## Amber Heard had written an op-ed in The Washington Post in 2018 in which she called herself a domestic abuse survivor against Depp. The latter had sued Heard for $50 million after the article was published, in which she referred to herself as "a public figure representing domestic abuse". Heard too had issued a counter-claim for $100 million over statements calling her allegations a "hoax" made by her ex-husband's attorney which was published in Mail Online stories in 2020.## While Heard lost on two of her three claims, she won on one claim that a statement from Depp's lawyer was defamatory, in which he said that Heard set up an "ambush, a hoax", referencing a visit from law enforcement to the couple's house allegedly initiated by Heard. She was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages but none in punitive damages, reports THR. ## After the verdict was out, Amber Heard took to social to issue her statement. "The disappointment I feel today is beyond words", she said. "I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband". ## On the other hand, Depp celebrated the verdict and said the decision "gave me my life back", in a statement shared on Instagram.## "From the very beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth was something that I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me. Mumbai, June 1 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for Tamil director Atlee and this marks their first collaboration. While the movie had already commenced filming last year, the makers haven't announced the film officially.## According to the latest reports, SRK's film with Atlee will officially be announced in the next couple of days with a title teaser. The movie has reportedly been titled "Jawaan". According to Bollywood Hungama, "after discussing and considering at-least 25 titles, Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee have decided to title their next as Jawan".## The report further stated that the makers will release a teaser of 1 minute 34 seconds and it will showcase King Khan in his massiest avatar to date and the fans will be blown away by this minute and a half glimpse. ## Apart from SRK, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover among many others in prominent roles. Hyderabad, May 31 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has reunited with one of the top directors Trivikram for his next, called "SSMB 28". The shoot for the much-anticipated film will kickstart next month and the film is slated to hit theaters around this time next year. ## Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are coming together for the third time. Earlier, the duo collaborated on Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010). Their upcoming collaboration is already getting hyped and if reports are to be believed, the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs. 200 crores. ## According to a Telugu 360 report, Mahesh Babu will get paid Rs. 60 crores while Trivikram will fetch approx. 50 crores.
