His ever-growing fan-following also includes those who don super-power on screen. ## Marvel Studios' upcoming series on Disney Plus, "Ms. Marvel's" producer and writer Sana Amanat and directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi (who helmed episodes 1 and 2) are huge Shah Rukh Khan fans. Even the series, which has Iman Vellani playing the title role of Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel has a Bollywood reference and Kamala's heart is set on Bollywood, especially, on the King, Shah Rukh Khan.## During a recent interview with ETimes, Sana Amanat with Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi spoke about SRK. It was recently revealed that Shah Rukh's name and his popular films like "Baazigar" and "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" get a special mention in the Marvel show. When asked if there is SRK's cameo in the series, Sana answered excitedly. ## "If Shah Rukh Khan wants to be in this show, we will go film again! Chennai, June 3 - Legendary Kamal Haasan returned to the action with Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed "Vikram", which has taken a massive opening in Tamil Nadu. The movie got excellent reviews and the word of mouth from the audience is also super positive, which is expected to lead the movie to record the biggest opening weekend of 2022 for a Tamil movie. ## Meanwhile, the iconic actor has already locked his next film after "Vikram". During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Kamal Haasan confirmed that his next movie is with Mahesh Narayanan, who won appreciation with Fahadh Faasil's political thriller, "Malik". ## "I have a commitment with Mr. Mahesh Narayanan. He began his career with me as a cinematographer and editor. We seem to understand each other and I have completed a script for me. It has already been shot around 40%, but the shoot was eventually put on hold due to budget issues and multiple other problems. Indian Box Office To Reach Over 12000 Crores In 2022: Report

Mumbai, June 3 - The Indian box office is back on track and heading towards a blockbuster finish in 2022. After the turbulent two years, the box office in India has witnessed a significant rise in 2022 as the collection in the first 5 months has already crossed the 4000 crores gross mark in India.## According to Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, the box office in India has reached the pre-covid level and even further in 2022 so far. Interactive Television (iTV), an Indian cinema advertising company, a part of GroupM India, along with Ormax Media, unveiled the 'India Is Back... At The Theatres' report. ## In the first four months, the tentpole titles like "RRR", "KGF Chapter 2", "Vikram", "Beast", and "Bheemla Nayak", along with "Gangubai Kathiawadi", and "The Kashmir Files released which helped the box office to soar exponentially. According to the Ormax Media report, box office numbers reached a whopping INR 4,002 cr within Jan-April 2022, the best–ever performance post covid. ## It was also the first time that the monthly average box office stands at more than INR 1,000 crores. These milestones have been achieved despite the impact of the third wave and 18% of cinemas still being closed since 2019. The collection largely got a boost from "KGF Chapter 2" and "RRR" with both scored approx. 1000 cr and 900 cr, respectively. ## While the first five months have been excellent for the Indian exhibition sector, the rest of the year is looking even more promising. With films like "Samrat Prithviraj", "Laal Singh Chaddha", "Brahmastra", "Vikram Vedha", and "Ram Setu", among others to release going forward, Ormax Media has estimated that the box office in 2022 could reach 12515 crores, which will be the biggest for Indian cinema to date. ## Speaking on the report, Shailesh Kapoor, Founder and CEO, Ormax Media said, "Over the last two years, when cinemas were shut due to the pandemic, many analysts were quick to write an obituary of the theatrical medium. The first four months of 2022 have proven how far removed from reality that analysis was. The theatrical medium has not only bounced back but emerged as stronger than it has been in decades. 2022 will be the biggest box office year till date, and by a good margin too". ## It is to be noted that Hindi has contributed 38% to the total collection so far, and almost 60% of this share comes from Hindi dubbed versions of South Indian films, primarily K.G.F: Chapter 2 and RRR, as per Ormax report.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, June 3 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has teamed up with Tamil director Atlee for the first time for an action thriller, titled "Jawan". Amid a lot of speculation, the makers revealed the title teaser on June 3rd and also confirmed the release date. ## Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and shared the title teaser. He also confirmed that the movie will have a Pan-India release on June 2, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It will be SRK's first Pan-India release. ## ## "Jawan" is produced by Shah Rukh Khan's own production house Red Chillies Entertainment. The shooting for the same is currently in progress. While the makers haven't announced the rest of the cast, South Indian actress, Nayanthara is reportedly playing the female lead in her Hindi debut. Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover are also said to be a part of the movie. ## Shah Rukh Khan will have three releases in 2023. The movie scored an excellent second week at the domestic box office, minting Rs. 49.7 crores net. This takes the total net collection of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" to Rs. 141.75 crores net in just two weeks. ## Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" has grossed approx. 35 crores at the overseas box office. It has also become Kartik Aaryan's first 200 crores worldwide grosser after it scored Rs. 202 crores through the second Thursday. The movie beat "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" (Rs. 156.46cr) to become the biggest hit of Kartik's career. ## "Bhool Bhulaiya 2" is the sequel to 2006's classic hit starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the leading roles. The movie was anticipated to do justice to the original movie and it has perfectly played that part by delivering big at the box office. BB2 is only the second 200 crores scorer Bollywood movie of 2022, after "The Kashmir Files". ## Among the all-time highest-grossing Hindi movie at the domestic box office, the horror-comedy currently stands at number 49, ahead of "Dream Girl". It helped the movie to reach $176.6 million in just 5 days. ## Directed by Joseph Kosinski, "Top Gun: Maverick" has surpassed its predecessor's lifetime domestic collection of $180 million, on Wednesday. Not only "Top Gun's" (1986) lifetime total, but the Wednesday collection of Top Gun 2 also takes it past "Mission: Impossible's" $181 million to become Tom Cruise's sixth-biggest domestic grosser of all time. ## "Top Gun: Maverick" is likely to become Cruise's biggest domestic grosser by the second Sunday. Currently, his "War of the Worlds" (2005) is the biggest grosser for him with $234 million in North America. Mumbai, June 2 - Akshay Kumar-fronted long-awaited "Samrat Prithviraj" is finally releasing in theaters on June 3rd. The movie has been delayed multiple times due to the covid-19 pandemic. Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty. ## Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut playing the role of Sanyogita.
