Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Henry Cavill Is In The Race To Play Next James Bond!
Los Angeles, September 27 - Daniel Craig is all set to retire as James Bond after the upcoming "No Time To Die", scheduled to release on September 30 internationally. Craig has worked on five Bond movies including the upcoming one and is regarded as one of the greatest Bond characters in the history of the spy thriller franchise.## Meanwhile, the talks about the next James Bond have already become a red hot topic in Hollywood. According to variety, betting company William Hill has picked Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, Regé-Jean Page, James Norton, and Luke Evans, who, one of them, could possibly replace Craig.## Despite the number of speculative names, James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, the long-time partners of the iconic spy franchise, have said they want to let Craig enjoy his time and the prospect of replacing him isn't something they're discussing until 2022.## In an interview on BBC Radio 4's popular Today program on Monday, the producers were asked if they have decided who might replace Craig's 007. "Oh, God no", said Broccoli. "We're not thinking about it at all. We want Daniel to have his time of celebration. Next year we'll start thinking about the future".## There are also murmurs about whether a woman could be the next Bond. However, Broccoli told the U.K.'s Press Association news agency that Bond would not be played by a woman, at least, not in near future. ## "James Bond is a male character. I hope that there will be many, many films made with women, for women, by women, about women", said Broccoli. "I don't think we have to take a male character and have a woman portray him. So yes, I see him as male. And I'm sort of in denial, I would love for Daniel to continue forever".## The 25th film in the Bond franchise, "No Time To Die" is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. Scheduled to debut in theaters on October 8 in the USA, the movie stars Daniel Craig as 007 along with Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles from previous films, with Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, and David Dencik in prominent roles. ## Stay tuned...
