Mumbai, July 24, 2021: On the first day of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu provides India a sensational start in the games as she won the silver medal in women's 49kg weightlifting. She lifted a total of 202kg to finish second to China's Hou Zhihoi who won the gold with an Olympic record of 210 kgs.## Mirabai becomes the second Indian to win an Olympic medal in weightlifting after Karnam Malleswari's historic bronze in 1998 and just the fifth individual to win a silver medal. The World No 3 started with successful lifts of 84kg and 87kg in the snatch to make the perfect start to her quest for a podium finish. With the Mahurat ceremony, the movie silently starts rolling with some important sequences to shoot on Amitabh Bachchan. The mini first schedule is expected to go for 5-7 days.## Prabhas is expected to be a part of the Mahurat shoot, however, it is still not clear if he will be shooting with the Big B in the first schedule of this film. Deepika too will join later schedules. The shooting will happen in a specially erected set at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. ## Aims to be a Pan-World film with a release in multiple Indian and foreign languages, #Prabhas21 is one of the craziest projects in the country and Nag Ashwin has come up with a stunning subject to surprise the audience. The Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo fame is currently shooting for the multilingual love story "Radhe Shyam", alongside actor Prabhas. Set in Europe of the 1970s, the filming is near completion. ## Radhe Shyam is one of the most anticipated Indian films as it is touted to be a never-seen-before romantic film in Indian cinema. The movie has been in development since October 2018 and the makers have treated fans with only a teaser and first looks posters of Prabhas and Pooja so far. Los Angeles, July 22, 2021: After the huge success of the Zombie movie "Army Of The Dead", which is among the most viewed Netflix movies of all time, the streaming giant has signed a first-look deal with filmmaker Zack Snyder for two years. The deal is under the aegis of Zack Snyder's production company, Stone Quarry, which he runs with wife Deborah Snyder, and executive Wesley Coller. ## As per the deal, Snyder will make and create content for Netflix including the sequel to Army Of The Dead, which gained 75 million views in the first four weeks of its debut. The first film that falls under the new deal is a sci-fi adventure tale "Rebel Moon". It is a Star Wars-inspired movie that will be co-written by Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. The production on "Revel Moon" is expected to begin in early 2022. ## The sequel to Army Of The Dead will be co-written by Snyder with Shay Hatten, who had also co-written the first movie with him. Among the other content from Snyders for Netflix, a German-made prequel to the Zombie movie, titled Army of Thieves, and an anime spinoff, were already in production ever before the movie was released in May. The prequel is on track for a release later this year while the anime is set to debut in spring 2022.## But that's not all. The other projects that are planned under the Netflix – Stone Quarry partnership are an animated series, "Twilight of the Gods"; and an action film that will mark the directorial debut of stunt coordinator, Damon Caro, a long-time collaborator of Snyders.## Previously, Snyders' Stone Quarry company had a deal with Warner Bros., for whom Snyder guided, either as director or producer, most of the DC superhero flicks in the modern age of comic book movies (except the Christopher Nolan Batman movies). The primary shooting of the film has been wrapped up and only a song or two is left for the complete wrap on the filming. ## Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently shooting for a promotional song, for which, a big set has been erected for Rs. 6.5 crores. Since the movie is based on a friendship set in the 1920s, the promotional song is said to be a friendship anthem. The song is reportedly being filming on Jr NTR and Ram Charan's friendship in the movie. A Sequel To Historic Blockbuster 'Gadar' Is In Works With Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, And Utkarsh Sharma

Mumbai, July 21, 2021: Set against the backdrop of the partition of India, the 2001 romantic period action film "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" was a historic blockbuster. The cross-border love story of Tara Singh and Sakeena broke many box office records and became one of the highest-grossing films of 2001 and won awards for music, acting, and direction categories. ## Directed by Anil Sharma, the story of the film revolved around Tara Singh (Sunny Deol), who went all the way to bring back his love of life and dear wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel). It also starred Amrish Puri (Sakeena's father), Lillete Dubey, and Utkarsh Sharma (Tara Singh-Sakeena's son). Due to the film's historic success and constant demand, the makers have decided to work on its sequel. ## While the first part was all about a husband-wife relationship, the sequel will focus on the father-son bond. As per reports, Sunny's character will again cross the border but this time to bring his beloved son Charanjeet Singh. The sequel will star Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and grown-up Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from part one. ## Tara Singh's charactor became so famous that Anil Sharma feels he can make several films with it. Meanwhile, before heading for Gadar 2, Anil Sharma will reportadly finish the family drama Apne 2 with the Deol family. Apne 2 is expected to go on floors in September this year. ## Stay tuned...
