Los Angeles, May 25, 2021: Hollywood actor and wrestler, John Cena posted a video on Tuesday (May 25) in which he apologized to fans in China for calling Taiwan a country. The "Fast & Furious 9" star referred to Taiwan as a country during a promotional interview of the F9 movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## Cena made the Taiwan comment in an interview with the Taiwanese broadcaster TVBS where he reportedly said, "Taiwan is the first country that can watch F9". ICYDK, Beijing considers Taiwan as part of China. Chennai, May 25, 2021: The controversy around Amazon Prime Video's upcoming web series, The Family Man 2, is getting more intense as the Tamil Nadu government has written a letter to the Information and Broadcast Minister Prakash Javadekar seeking a ban on the show for 'depicts the Eelam Tamils in a highly objectionable manner'. ## "I would like to bring to your notice about the condemnable, inappropriate, and malicious contents of The Family Man 2 serial in Hindi, which depicts the Eelam Tamils in a highly objectionable manner. The trailer of the above said serial which was released in the social media network is aimed at discrediting and distorting the historical struggle of Eelam Tamils in Sri Lanka", read a section of the letter.## According to the trailer launched recently, South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni, who makes her digital debut with this series, can be seen portraying a character named Raji. But the controversial part is that she is a member of a rebel group called Tamil rebels, who joined hands with a dangerous terrorist organization, ISIS, to unleash an attack on India. ## Objecting to Samantha's role, the state government suggested that casting Samantha Akkineni as a terrorist in "the serial is directly an attack on the pride of Tamils living around the world and no one will tolerate this kind of motivated and mischievous campaign", the letter read.## TN Govt writes to Centre to stop the release of the web series #TheFamilyManSeason2 on Amazon Prime. According to them, assumptions have been made based on a few shots in the trailer and urged people to wait for the show to premiere, which is scheduled for June 4 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. ## "Some assumptions and impressions have been made based on just a couple of shots in the trailer. Many of our lead cast members, as well as key members of the creative & writing team, are Tamilians. We are very cognizant of the sentiments of the Tamil people and Tamil culture and have nothing but the utmost love and respect towards our Tamil people", Raj & DK said in the statement. ## "We have put in years of hard work into this show, and we have taken great pains to bring to our audiences a sensitive, balanced, and riveting story – much like we did in Season 1 of the show. Well, things are rightly falling in place after director Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Karthi hinted about a possible sequel sometime back.## Now, producer SR Prabhu has also confirmed through a Twitter Spaces session that Kaithi 2 is definitely in the works and the audience will definitely get to see what happened next. The 9 episode show featured Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and the Vision - the characters from Marvel Comics. ## Even though the series was highly successful, it wasn't in Marvel's initial plan, actually, it was never in Studios' long-term plan to develop or make any series or film on Wanda and Vision. According to Olsen, it was director Joss Whedon, who put forth the idea of the persevering romance between Wanda and Vision, during the "Avengers: Age of Ultron", which introduces the future Scarlet Witch (Olsen) and the synthetic android (Bettany). ## "No", Olsen answered during a WandaVision Q&A with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation when asked if the two actors knew their Ultron pairing would turn into a long-lasting relationship between Wanda and Vision (via comicbook). "Joss Whedon wanted to suggest it in Ultron, not knowing if Marvel would pick up what he was throwing down. And they did, luckily, but it wasn't really part of a long plan other than Joss's, I think, personal desire". ## "So we sprinkled in stolen glances and then [Vision] obviously was the person to rescue me when I kind of give up at the end", Olsen added about Vision swooping in to save Wanda from a collapsing Sokovia in the climax of Ultron.## WandaVision show is all about love and grief. Both Salman and Katrina reprise their roles as RAW and ISI agents respectively in Tiger 3. ## While there hasn't been any official confirmation yet, it is said that Emraan Hashmi is playing the lead antagonist to give sleepless nights to Salman in the film. Asia Cup 2021 Officially Postponed To 2023

Mumbai, May 23, 2021: Due to the packed international schedule and second covid-19 wave threat, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially postponed the Asia Cup 2021 by two years. However, the Asia Cup 2022 will go ahead as scheduled with Pakistan retaining hosting rights for the 2022 edition. ## "The ACC Executive Board, in face of the risks and restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, had made the difficult decision to postpone the Asia Cup 2020 to 2021. Since then, the ACC has been working with its participants and stakeholders to try and ensure that the event is held in the year", the ACC said in a media release. ## "However, on account of a packed FTP, it has been concluded that there is no practical window in the year when all the teams would be available to participate. The Board has accordingly considered the matter very carefully and determined that the only way ahead would be to postpone the event. It would therefore only be feasible for this edition of the tournament to be held in 2023 as there is already an Asia Cup in 2022. Dates for the same will be confirmed in due course", it added. ## With no Asia Cup this year as well, the tournament has been pushed back for a second straight year after it was originally scheduled to be played in September of last year. Sri Lanka will host the Asia Cup 2023 after the Pakistan Cricket Board exchanged hosting rights with Sri Lanka Cricket for the next two editions of the tournament. ## The last Asia Cup, which was played in 2018 in UAE, won by India under the leadership of Rohit Sharma in the absence of Virat Kohli. Since 2016, the tournament has alternated between the T20I and ODI format accordingly to ICC tournaments. the 2018's event was played in ODI format ahead of ICC ODI World Cup in 2019. ## Stay tuned...
