Tiger Shroff-Fronted 'Baaghi 4' Officially Confirmed

Mumbai, March 19 - Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff will be returning to headline the fourth instalment of the hit action thriller Baaghi franchise, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala's Grandson Entertainment. ## Though it was already known to the public that Baaghi 4 was in early production but there hasn't been any confirmed development on the same. While it is still unclear when the movie will start, the producer has inked a deal with Amazon Prime Video for the film's post-theatrical release. ## Prime Video had previously also announced post-theatrical rights of Baaghi 4 back in 2022, and now, re-confirmed the same during its annual announcement slate. Box Office: Shaitaan First Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, March 11 - After the very good first-weekend collection with 54 crores net, Ajay Devgn-fronted Shaitaan sees a drop of over 60% on its first Monday and the same is around 50% from Friday on which the collection benefitted by Maha Shivratri holiday. ## According to early estimates, the supernatural thriller mints 6.75-7.25 crores net collection on its first Monday, which takes the total collection to around 61 crores in 4 days. The drop from Sunday as well as from Friday is slightly higher than normal but can be called a decent hold as the biz gets hit during Ramazan days. ## Shaitaan has been made on a controlled budget and a consistent performance from here on will take it to a healthy total. The movie, however, needs to show solid consistency during the weekdays to make sure it doesn't drop further beyond normal decline and that would take it to around 77 crores in the full first week. The film emerged as a success but it might not turn into that huge hit which looked like a possibility after the very good weekend collection.## Meanwhile, Article 370, starring Yami Gautam collects an estimated 85 lakh net on its third Monday. Blockbuster 'Drishyam' Franchise To Be Remade In Hollywood

Mumbai, February 29 - The blockbuster Indian suspense thriller film franchise Drishyam is set to be remade in the English language. India's Panorama Studios has joined hands with U.S. companies Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films to bring the movie to Hollywood. ## Drishaym was originally made in Malayalam language, starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. It was remade in Hindi with Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles in 2015 and later, a sequel in both languages released in 2021 and 2022, respectively. ## Panorama Studios produced the Hindi version and also acquired the international remake rights to Drishyam 1 & 2 from the original producers, Aashirvad Cinemas. The studio has already announced a Korean-language remake of the film in 2023 and is close to finalising a deal to remake the movie in Spanish-language. ## "Drishyam's clever narrative has a universal appeal and we are keen to celebrate this story with audiences worldwide. Mumbai, February 29 - Ending the months of speculations, actors Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani reunite for the fourth instalment of comedy entertainer Masti. ## The film will be directed by Milap Zaveri while Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria of Maruti International along with A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions will produce it. The first three films were directed by Indra Kumar. ## Masti 4 was officially announced on February 29 with the aforementioned cast and crew and also unveiled the logo for the same. It was Warsi who headlined the first movie before Akshay took centre stage in the second instalment and now, the duo is coming together for the next chapter. ## While the official announcement is yet to be made, reports have confirmed that Jolly LLB 3 will see Akshay and Arshad in comical confrontations. Subhash Kapoor will return to direct the movie which was initially planned to go on the floor by early 2024, but now according to Pinkvilla, Jolly LLB 3 is set to start filming in May 2024. ## "Both Akshay and Arshad have allotted their dates for Jolly LLB 3 from May and are excited to embark on this journey together", says the report. The movie will essentially be shot in Mumbai and at real locations in Rajasthan.## It is known to everyone that both actors are currently shooting for Welcome To The Jungle, which is the third instalment of the comedy franchise Welcome. The movie is produced by Pooja Entertainment and also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the villain role.## With one and a half months left for the release, BMCM is already among the most anticipated Bollywood films and now, it has reportedly received a huge boost in its pursuit to get a wide release in international markets where it is expected to do well at the box office. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, the makers of BMCM have collaborated with Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films to roll the movie out in overseas territories. YRF has been a leading distributor of Bollywood movies outside India and producers Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani are confident that they'll get the best of screens through YRF. ## YRF has had huge success in 2023 with the blockbuster outcome of its Pathaan and Red Chillies Entertainment production Jawan in overseas markets. Mumbai, February 25 - Yami Gautam-fronted Article 370 has had a very good first weekend at the domestic box office, scoring around 23 crores net over 3 days. In an encouraging sign, the films showed good growth over the weekend. ## According to early estimates, the political thriller minted 9.50-10 crores net collection on its first Sunday. The jump is around 25% from Saturday collection of approximately 7.50 crores net which is a very good improvement for a movie with limited audiences. ## It will be a litmus test for the movie on Monday which is considered a make-or-break day as far as the box office prospects. Article 370 has been getting wide appreciation among audiences and with the kind of subject it has, the movie is in a good position to do well but how far it can go will be known only after Monday test. ## Meanwhile, Vidyut Jammwal's sports actioner Crakk failed to score a jump on Sunday after an underwhelming Saturday.
