VD 14: Vijay Deverakonda To Headline Mythri Movie Makers' Period Action Drama Film

Hyderabad, May 9 - Vijay Deverakonda is on a roll with the back-to-back film announcement. After locking a mass entertainer with producer Dil Raju, the Telugu heartthrob has announced his second film of the day, this time with Mythri Movie Makers. ## Tentatively titled VD 14, the movie is the saga of a short-lived hero in the 19th century based on untold real historical events. The Pan India movie marks Vijay Deverakonda's third with Mythri Movie Makers, after Dear Comrade and Kushi. ## Set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, the makers unveiled a captivating concept poster with the tagline "The Legend of The Cursed Land" which is set between 1854 and 1878. The script was narrated to Rashmika and she instantly said yes to come on board. ## It will be the first time when Rashmika will be sharing the screen with Salman Khan. The pre-production work has already commenced and the makers are set to take the movie on floors in June in India, followed by international schedules.## Rashmika has a strong lineup of films. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma. ## Mr and Mrs Mahi revolves around the imperfectly perfect partnership between the cricket-loving couple. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions in association with Zee Studios.## This is director Sharan Sharma's second film with Janhvi Kapoor after his debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The movie is directed by Shashank Khaitan and it also stars Sanya Malhotra, Akshay Oberoi and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. ## On Saturday (May 4), the shooting for SSKTK commenced with both Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor joining the schedule. The film is touted to be a fun-filled romantic comedy, along the lines of the Dulhania film series. It is said to be a vibrant celebration of love infused with music, larger-than-life sets, and a stellar cast. ## The first schedule of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari kicked off in Mumbai, the makers will head to Rajasthan and some other locations for the next schedules.
