Mumbai, September 6, 2021: Marvel Studio is once again paving the way for a strong box office recovery worldwide amid the covid-19 pandemic. After "Black Widow", the latest Marvel release, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings" is doing strong business worldwide including India. On its opening weekend, "Shang-Chi" has earned approx Rs. 10.50 crore in India, becoming the first choice for cinemagoers. ## Now, Marvel Studios announced the release date of its next superhero movie, Eternals. Directed by the Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao, Eternals will release in India on 5 November on the occasion of Diwali, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. ## The movie marks the first collaboration between the director and Marvel Studios. A movie, which was called an "experimental" release in theaters by Disney CEO, has debuted with a mighty $75 million in the opening weekend (Fri-Sun) at the domestic (North America) box office. ## "Shang-Chi" was anticipated a debut of between $45 million to $50 million in the opening weekend, but now, it is on course for $84 million four-day Labor Day weekend. With a $75 million 3-day weekend debut, "Shang-Chi" takes the second-biggest domestic opening, falling just behind "Black Widow's" $80.3 million opening. Mumbai, August 31, 2021: The star Indian actress, Deepika Padukone, is all set to mark her comeback in Hollywood after the 2017 release xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The actress will be starring an upcoming cross-cultural romantic comedy, which is being developed by STXfilms, a division of Eros STX Global Corporations. She will also be co-producing this venture under her Ka Productions banner. ## The announcement was made on Monday by STXFilms chairman Adam Fogelson. The studio is also in negotiations with Temple Hill Productions Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen (the Twilight franchise, The Fault in Our Stars, "Love, Simon") to develop the film centered around Deepika. "One studio should plant a flag and make a huge commitment to the theatrical experience and the filmmakers will go there".## Jenkins also talked about the Warner Bros. decision to release Wonder Woman 1984 simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max last year, admitting that at the time it was "the best choice of a bunch of very bad choices.
