Mumbai, July 11 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has had a very good second week at the Hindi box office after an excellent first week. The sci-fi epic has managed to score approximately 70 crores in net collection in week two. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is among the top 20 films in the biggest second week ever in Hindi and when it comes to South Indian films, the same finished as the 4th biggest second week grosser, behind SS Rajamouli's RRR. ## SS Rajamouli and Prabhas' epic all-time blockbuster, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion remains the biggest and the only 100+ crores net South Indian second-week grosser in the dubbed version, followed by Yash-fronted KGF: Chapter 2. Salaar Part 1 is the 5th in the list, making it 3 films of Prabhas in the top 5 biggest second-week scorers. ## Top 5 South Indian Films In Hindi In The Second Week (Net Collection) - ## 1. The movie had a solid hold on the second Monday despite the weather challenges for approximately 6.50 crores net. ## The Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic is showing a drop of around 10% on its second Tuesday (13th day) for an estimated 5.50-6 crores net, pushing the total Hindi collection to 224.50+ crores in 13 days. Mumbai, July 7 - With one eye on the ultimate milestone of 1000 crores gross, Prabhas-fronted sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD has crossed 750 crores at the worldwide box office in just 10 days, the first Indian movie to do so since Ranbir Kapoor's Animal in December last year. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki witnessed a jump of over 100% to gross around 40 crores at the domestic box office on its second Saturday while the worldwide collection for the day was over 50 crores gross to take the total global cume to around 760 crores in 10 days. ## In India, the film has grossed an estimated 555 crores while overseas collection is 205 crores in 10 days so far. The overall jump for all versions is over 100% which speaks a lot about the acceptance of the movie among the general audience. ## The Hindi version of the movie was breathing fire today as it scored an estimated 18-19 crore net and it could go a little higher depending on the single screens. It scored an estimated 25+ crores gross on its second Friday (9th day).## Kalki 2898 AD is the second film of Prabhas after Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion to top this box office milestone. Deepika Padukone, who plays the female lead in the movie, also scored his second 700 crore grosser after Pathaan in a lead role. It became only the 6th Indian movie ever to score 500+ crores worldwide gross collection in the opening weekend and will end the extended first week total to around 675 crores. ## As has been the case with Prabhas' recent films, the Hindi version has once again delivered for the actor and added immense value to the overall collection. Mumbai, July 4 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD has beaten Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Fighter to score the biggest first week of 2024 at the Hindi box office. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD has earned approximately 152.30 crores net collection in Hindi in 7 days so far, whereas, Fighter had scored 146.50 crores in its extended first week. Both the movies have had a Thursday release, leading to an 8-day extended week. ## Interestingly, Siddharth Anand's directorial, Fighter had posted a bigger opening weekend with approximately 118.50 crores net than Kalki 2898 AD's 109 crores. However, there will be, at least, a 15 crores difference between the two films at the end of the full first week with marching ahead. ## Fighter scored approximately 212.75 crores net collection in its lifetime run which Kalki could topple in the second weekend to become the biggest Hindi grosser of the year.
