RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Becomes The 3rd Highest-Grossing Indian Film
Tokyo, November 7 - SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster RRR has become the third highest-grossing Indian film at the Japan box office, crossing Aamir Khan's comedy-drama "3 Idiots". ## The Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-starrer completed 17 days at the Japan box office and crossed the 10 crores mark. It grossed ¥185 million (Rs. 10.34 crores) through the third Sunday. "3 Idiots" grossed ¥170 million in its lifetime run in Japan and is now slipped to 4th position. ## The period action drama film also scored 122K footfalls in Japan in 17 days. The movie has been running on 209 screens, including 31 IMAX screens across 44 locations. It is the fastest Indian film to achieve these footfalls, scoring another milestone in Japan. ## "RRR's" worldwide gross collection has now reached 1125 crores, including over 220 crores at the overseas box office. In Japan, the film might reach at number 2 in its full run. Superstar Rajinikanth's "Muthu" is currently the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan with JPY400 million, followed by Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", starring Prabhas, with JPY330 million. ## Stay tuned...
