Mumbai, November 30 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor's Animal becomes the third outright Bollywood movie of 2023 to sell 1 million advance tickets for the opening day. The actor joins superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the 1 million club. SRK's "Jawan" and "Pathaan" are currently the biggest advance sales scorers and both sold over 1 million tickets each. ## Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, "Animal", as of 8 PM on November 30, sold 10.50 lakh tickets worth approx. 26.75 crores gross for all languages for the opening day. In the original Hindi version, the film has sold approximately 800K tickets and there are outside chances of it hitting 1 million alone before the first show begins. ## "Animal", as reported earlier, is expecting to score over 60 crores gross on the first day in India and over 40 crores overseas for 100+ crores worldwide opening. Mumbai, November 30 - The second instalment of the anthology film Lust Stories has been the most popular Indian streaming film of 2023 so far, as per the IMDb rating which is determined by the page views on the website. The movies on the list are the ones released between the period of January 1 - November 6. ## Lust Stories 2, which was released on June 29, scored 18.5 million viewing hours in the first three weeks on Netflix. Even though the numbers are lower than many films released this year on Netflix, the film attracted audience attention due to its solid casting and content. ## Kareena Kapoor's Jaane Jaan is the second most popular Indian streaming movie of the year. It was a big success for Netflix and in the first three weeks, it scored 38 million viewing hours. Mumbai, November 29 - After completing its box office run, Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster Leo recently started streaming on Netflix, and surprisingly, the Hindi version turned out to be the most-watched in India in its first weekend. ## "Leo" debuted on Netflix on November 24 in India while it started streaming globally on November 28. During the week of November 20 - November 26, the Hindi version of the movie was the most-watched title in India. Netflix doesn't reveal data for a particular country. ## At the box office, the "Leo" Hindi version grossed approx. 32 crores despite not getting released in multiplex chains. It was a missed opportunity for the makers to not get a proper release in Hindi which is now benefitting Netflix. ## The original Tamil version of "Leo" was the third most-watched title in India during the same week, followed by the Telugu version at number 4. Bangalore, November 28 - Director Prashanth Neel has been working Salaar: Ceasefire - Part 1, starring superstar Prabhas, for the last two years. It is the director's next after the Yash-fronted monstrous blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2" which was released last year. ## The film is currently in the final stage of post-production as the makers are gearing up for the launch of the trailer on December 1st while the movie will be hitting big screens on December 22nd. It will be a two-part release, and the second part will resume filming early next year. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, there have been rumours that it is connected to the KGF franchise which has raised expectations further. Salman has allotted bulk dates to this big-scale entertainer which is believed to be based on the true events. ## The report further revealed that Salman will be going through a physical transformation for the movie and the process has already begun. The audience will see the leaner version of the "Sultan" star and he will be seen as a paramilitary officer in the film which is based on one of the most heroic missions conducted by the Indian Army. ## "The Bull" was earlier planned to have a Christmas 2024 release but now, according to the report, it will most likely be the Eid 2025 release, however, the exact release date is not known yet.
