Directed by Atlee Kumar, the action thriller was released on September 7, and 8 weeks later, it stands as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. Jawan has been an unstoppable force since its debut and has broken many records during its journey, which has been one of the longest in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. With not much left in the tank to score, Jawan finished its run with approximately 640 crores of all-India net collection, of which 582 crores have come through Hindi and approximately 58 crores in Telugu and Tamil. Mumbai, November 1 - Yash Raj Films has collaborated with PVR-Inox to celebrate the Spy Universe festival ahead of the release of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3". ## YRF's Spy Universe is one of the most loved film franchises in India and the upcoming "Tiger 3" is the 5th film in the series so far. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the third Tiger movie follows the events of "Tiger Zinda Hai", "War", and "Pathaan" and is touted to be the biggest film in the Spy Universe yet. ## The studio has partnered with PVR-Inox to screen the previous film in the series in what is termed as YRF Spy Universe Film Festival. The aforementioned films along with "Ek Tha Tiger" will be screened from November 3rd to November 5th in the select properties of PVR-Inox across the country. ## As said, Spy Universe has set new standards for the Indian cinema. Sources added that the movie will go on floors in 2024 and will release in 2025. This is likely to be a huge project given that it is about one of India’s music legends and has uber-talented Dhanush playing the role. The project is said to be produced by Connekkt Media", the tweet reads.## Isaignani Illaiyaraaja is one of the most decorated Indian musicians. He has worked in over 1000 films and has been awarded Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan by the government of India along with 5 national awards. ## Interestingly, Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is the third and youngest child of Ilaiyaraaja, had said a few months back that he would love to see Dhanush playing the role of his father in his biopic and it seems, things are falling in place. As known to everyone, the "Ghayal" actor is already doing a mass entertainer Baap which is currently in the post-production work for a 2024 release. ## Sunny is shooting for a social drama film currently, which is expected to be released in the first half of 2024. Chennai, October 30 - Thalapathy Vijay's action drama Leo has become the second highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, beating superstar Rajinikanth's mega-blockbuster "Jailer". Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial is also inching towards hitting the 200 crores mark in the state. ## The latest Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) blockbuster crossed "Jailer" in 12 days. The Rajini-led movie scored approximately 189.50 crores gross collection in Tamil Nadu and "Leo" scored around 191.50 crores. It is now behind only Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan - 1" which grossed approx. 213 crores last year. ## "Leo" will become only the second movie to top 200 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and it is heading towards finishing around 210 crores gross. The movie, however, has the potential to become the number 1 movie in the state and it needs to hold strong during the weekdays. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, the third LCU movie has already become the third highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time at the worldwide box office. It minted approx. 543 crores gross in 12 days. The movie, however, is still approximately 62 crores behind "Jailer" which is the second-biggest Tamil movie.
