The movie has been snubbed by the Indian jury as India's official Oscar entry but the makers will push the film through the general category. Mumbai, September 22 - It has been two weeks since director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva was released in theaters. The movie has been received very well by the audience and now, people are waiting for part two of the movie, titled "Dev". ## After watching the first part, fans are sharing their theories about what can happen in the second or third part and who can play the role of Dev and some other character. To discuss all these things, Ayan set down with one of the top comic book theorists of India i.e. Desi Nerd, super super, bnftv, PJ Explained, and Comic verse.## During their discussion about fans' theories, Ayan revealed that when he started writing the script, he had set the "Dragon" title for the movie. She said that the main character of the movie, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) has the power of fire and that the Dragon title would suit the movie. ## The filmmaker further revealed that when he started to go deeper into the script, his inspiration started shifting from Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings to more towards Indian history, towards Indian culture. As he progressed through the script, Ayan revealed that Indian history and culture were mostly in him and a title related to our culture will suit more. ## Since Shiva's character is inspired by lord Shiva, Ayan revealed that he understood the beauty and power he stands for and the same happened with the concept of Astras, the concept of Brahmastra. Hyderabad, September 22 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan has been working on his political action drama film with director S. Shankar. The movie went on floors earlier this year, however, things are getting slowed on the progress of the movie as director Shankar is simultaneously started working on his long-awaited "Indian 2" with Kamal Haasan. ## "Indian 2" went on floors a long time back but the shoot was paused after an accident on the set. It recently resumed in Chennai and now, reports say Shankar wants to finish this movie quickly. According to Telugu media reports, Ram Charan is not happy with Shankar's divided attention towards "RC15", hence he is looking to start a new film. ## According to the Great Andhra report, Ram Charan had met with several directors to set up a new project. Kannada director Narthan is one of the directors Ram Charan met to discuss a script. While the "RRR" star reportedly wasn't entirely convinced with the movie, rumors say that he may go with Narthan, but there is no confirmation.## Shankar, meanwhile, will simultaneously direct "Indian 2" and "RC15". Mumbai, September 22 - Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar's drama film Jogi, which is based on 1984's anti-Sikh riots, has been released on Netflix and is being appreciated by the audience. ## The movie starring Diljit Dosanjh in the title role scored 3.08 million viewing hours on the opening weekend (Sept. 16 - 18) and was the 7th most watched non-English film worldwide during the week on Netflix. The film is expected to score higher numbers in the ongoing week as reviews are super positive for this one. ## "Jogi" is set in Delhi's eastside neighborhood of Trilokpuri, and depicts a three-day period in the immediate aftermath of the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on 31 October 1984. Srinagar, September 21 - For the first time in nearly 30 years, the movie-going experience returns to Kashmir as multiple theaters have been inaugurated by Lt governor Manoj Sinha. The government of India is adamant to open theaters in every district of J&K as a part of the socio-economic revolution in the valley.## While inaugurating the 520-seater multiplex theatre in Srinagar, Sinha said land has been identified for developing a film city in the Union Territory (UT). It is Kashmir's first INOX multiplex with a total capacity of 520 persons.## Congratulating the people, Vijay Dhar, owner of the multiplex and INOX Group on the occasion, the Lt Governor said that a major socio-economic revolution is sweeping through J&K in the last 3 years and it is a reflection of a new dawn of hope, dreams, confidence, and aspirations of people, he added.## A couple of days ago, Sinha inaugurated multipurpose cinema halls in the South Kashmir districts of Shopian and Pulwama. Films like "RRR" and "Bhaag Mikha Bhaag" were shown to the people, including students of their respective districts. It was their first-time movie-watching experience in theaters and the joy of it was clearly visible on their faces. ## The Lt Governor observed that the opening of multipurpose cinema halls in Shopian, Pulwama, and the first-ever multiplex cinema hall in Srinagar marks the revival of cinema culture in the Kashmir Valley after three decades.## "Culture is a way of life and cinema being the powerful medium of sharing thoughts and ideas reflects societal values and change. Cinema brings people together. Apart from entertainment, it gives hopes, dreams, and inspiration to youth to pursue their dreams till they realize it", he said.## "Young generations have a strong urge to see a better society, to learn about other cultures, to become part of an interdependent world. And, it is the responsibility of the administration to provide them opportunities and support. The new cinema halls and ongoing film shootings will renew the beautiful bond between Jammu Kashmir and the Indian film industry.## "New film policy has been rolled out with special provisions and incentives for encouraging local youth to take up the film as a career. We are in talks with various stakeholders and have identified the land for developing Film City in the UT and the facility will come up in the UT soon", Sinha added.## Siddharth Jain, Executive Director, INOX Group, while speaking on the occasion, said that the launch of the new multiplex theatre in Kashmir will make the region to be a part of the country's creative economy and contribute to strengthening the soft power of the country.## The 3-screen INOX multiplex will be opened next week with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan-fronted "Vikram Vedha" and Mani Ratnam's mega movie "PS1", which are scheduled to release on September 30. ## Stay tuned...

The website has reported that season 1 of the series is averaging a mammoth 29 million viewers per episode across its first five episodes. ## "House of the Dragon" is showing the sign of going the "Game of Thrones" way, which averaged more than 44 million viewers per episode for its eighth and final season in 2019. ## According to Nielsen (via Variety), 2.576 million people tuned into the 5th episode on HBO itself, a 4% increase when compared to last week's 2.474 million cable viewers. ## The show, "House of the Dragon", is the biggest series premiere ever for HBO Max after the first episode was watched by nearly 10 million people across all platforms. The series has already been greenlit for the second season after the unprecedented response. ## The show will see a narrative and casting shift after the 5th episode, as Episode 6 will mark a major time jump.
