The 34-year-old actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14 last year. ## Sushant's "Sonchiriya" co-star Bhumi Pednekar wrote on Instagram, "Miss you, your questions and everything we spoke about. From the stars to the things unknown, you showed me the world like I had never seen it before. I hope you've found your peace my curious sweet SSR…Om Shanti #Forever #Ssr #Peace #neutronstar". ## Actor Pulkit Samrat wrote, "It has been a year since the world lost you, and my mind immediately goes back to the times when we crossed paths briefly, at an award function. Mumbai, June 14, 2021: In February 2020, Reliance Entertainment had confirmed that the production house has bought the Hindi remake rights of Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Kaithi, which stars Karthi in the lead role. Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is signed to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film. ## However, according to reports, the Hindi remake of Kaithi will undergo many changes and will be different from the original movie. While the Tamil movie had no leading actress, Kajal Aggarwal is likely to romance Ajay Devgn in the Hindi version. It is said that makers are planning to include a heroine and a flashback episode with Ajay. ## If reports are to be believed, then Kajal is all set to reunite with Devgn after the 2011 blockbuster Singham. Kajal's inclusion in the Kaithi remake means, it is set to be remodeled as a commercial entertainer, unlike the Tami version, which was a bona fide action thriller. ## Interestingly, director Lokesh Kanagaraj's films are selling like hotcakes in Bollywood. His Maanagaram is being remade as Mumbaikar by Santosh Sivan, his Kaithi is all set to be remade by Ajay Devgn, and Salman Khan is likely to play the lead in the Hindi remake of Master.## Meanwhile, the producer of the original Kaithi, SR Prabhu recently confirmed through a Twitter Spaces session that a sequel to Kaithi is in the works and the audience will definitely get to see what happened next. Mumbai, June 13, 2021: Ahead of the World Test Championship Final between Indian and New Zealand, the International Cricket Council (ICC) inducted 10 players from five different eras, dating back to cricket's early days, into the Hall of Fame for their contribution to Test cricket. ## "The 10 legends of the game to be inducted have all made a significant contribution to the history of Test cricket, and join an illustrious list of ICC Hall of Famers, taking the total number to 103 as a result of this intake", the ICC said in a statement.## Among the 10 players, former India all-rounder Vinoo Mankad has also made the cut into the list of Hall of Famer. Manked played 44 Tests for India and scored 2109 runs with 5 hundred and 6 half-centuries between 1956 and 1959. He is famous for his world record-setting opening partnership of 413 runs with Pankaj Roy in 1956, a record that stood for 52 years. ## Manked was a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and took 162 wickets at an average of 32.32, including eight five-wicket hauls. He is one of three cricketers to have batted in every position during his Test career. ## Apart from Manked, Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, and Zimbabwe's Andy Flower - two of the most prolific wicketkeeper-batsman in Test history, also included in the list. Sangakkara becomes the only second Sri Lankan after Muttiah Muralitharan whereas Flower becomes the first player from Zimbabwe to make it to the Hall of Fame. ## Among the other inductees are Aubrey Faulkner of South Africa and Monty Noble of Australia for the early era (pre-1918), Sir Learie Constantine of West Indies and Stan McCabe of Australia for the inter-war Era (1918-1945), Ted Dexter of England for the post-war Era (1946-1970). Desmond Haynes of the West Indies and Bob Willis of England were inducted from the ODI era (1971-1995). ## "Vinoo Mankad's legacy has been to tell the aspiring Indian cricketer to believe in oneself", former Indian opener Sunil Gavaskar said on Mankad's induction. "He was a great proponent of self-belief. He was the one who kept saying to me that you need to keep scoring runs and keep at it. When you get a 100, let that be the knock on the selector's door. If it is unheard, then score that double hundred and let that knock be even louder". ## "You can have the best technique, but if you do not have the temperament to support it you will not succeed, you have to keep hanging in there and have that self-belief. The actor is very well received by the audiences for his role in this espionage action thriller series. ## The series, however, faced the heat from the Tamil-speaking people who alleged that the show depicted Tamils in an "objectionable manner". Many people asked for a ban on the series, for which, the makers had to release a statement that people shouldn't reach a conclusion by seeing only the trailer and asked them to wait for the show to premiere. ## Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee feels the series has worked, and that proves people know that the story isn't about hurting sentiments. ## "We as a team - our directors, writers, are very sentimental to each and every person and state. We are sensitive to the culture. We would never do anything to offend anyone. Even in the first season, and in this season of 'The Family Man', we don't talk about politics. We put the characters there and we look at those characters in a humanized way. All those characters are heroes of their own story", Bajpayee told IANS. ## "Now, the show is there right in front of you. The yet-untitled film marks the second collaboration between NTR and Siva after their blockbuster, Janatha Garage (2016). ## Now, it is being reported that Kabir Singh actress, Kiara Advani has been cast to play the female lead opposite Jr. NTR in NTR30. Koratala and Kiara had previously collaborated for Mahesh Babu fronted, Bharat Ane Nenu which marked the debut of the actress in Tollywood. NTR30 will also be the first time when Kiara will share screen space with Jr. NTR. ## The reports are also claiming that Jr. NTR is also in favor of roping Kiara Advani for the female lead role. South Indian Films Rocks As IMDb Releases List of 10 Most Popular Indian Titles of 2021 So Far

Mumbai, June 12, 2021: IMDb has unveiled its list of the most popular Indian films and web series of the year so far. Even though the cinema halls are closed in most of the states, over 250 Indian films had released between January and April before they shut down. ## Among the titles released in theaters, most of them came from the South Indian film industry. Also, a vast range of content has been released on streaming platforms including films and web shows until June.## The list released by IMDb features titles released between January 1, 2021, and June 3, 2021, and is "based on IMDbPro data on the page views of IMDb users in India". Thalapathy Vijay's "Master" finds itself at the number 1 position as the most popular title of 2021 so far while TVF web series Aspirants ranked second in the list. ## In the top 10 most popular Indian films/shows on IMDb, 7 of them are films and 3 are web series. Interestingly, not a single Bollywood film has found a place in the most popular titles list. The covid-19 pandemic keeps playing a spoilsport for many films, and one of them is Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie also star Katrina Kaif as the female lead while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh also have special appearances. ## Sooryavanshi was originally scheduled to release in March 2020 and has since had a number of release dates confirmed until the situation with the pandemic in India began to worsen. However, there is good news regarding the new release date of the film and it is that the movie could release on 15 August 2021 in theaters. ## According to Box Office Worldwide, Reliance Entertainment has initiated a conversation with exhibitors about the new release date of Sooryavanshi. However, the makers have put forth their new terms for exhibitors that they won't be paying any Voluntary Provident Fund charges as post-lockdown it should be a new norm to reduce the burden on producers. ## The report further stated that makers have also proposed the new revenue sharing percentage which will be 60% for the 1st week, 50% for the 2nd week & 40% for the 3rd week and onwards. Sooryavanshi has also been approached by OTT platforms for direct-to-digital release but makers are committed to its theatrical release. ## Meanwhile, director Rohit Shetty is currently busy shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11 in Cape Town, South Africa. Salman Khan Acquires Hindi Remake Rights of Ravi Teja Starrer Telugu Movie Khiladi?

Mumbai, June 11, 2021: Telugu star Ravi Teja's action thriller movie, Khiladi is yet to hit the theater screens, but it seems the movie has already caught the attention of Bollywood. According to the latest development in Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan has reportadly bought the Hindi remake rights of Khiladi. ## It is reported that Salman enjoyed that the recently released trailer of Khiladi, and he looked interested to make its Hindi version. He has reportadly approached director Ramesh Varma, who has helmed the Telugu version, to direct the film's Hindi version as well. However, there's no official word either from Salman Khan or the makers of Khiladi yet on the Hindi remake. ## Produced by Satyanarayana Koneru, Khiladi stars Ravi Teja in a dual role along with Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Dimple Hayathi in prominant roles. Mumbai, June 10, 2021: The All-India Senior Selection Committee picked the Indian squad for the 3-match ODI series and the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka scheduled in the month of July. All matches will be played at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.## With regular players are in England for the WTC Final and 5-match test series against England, Shikhar Dhawan has been named the captain of both the ODI and T20I series for the Sri Lanka tour. Dhawan remains the only senior player apart from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya, who is not a part of the test squad currently. ## Meanwhile, the absence of regulars means, Devdutt Padikkal making the cut in the limited-overs series for the first time.
