Blockbuster Pathaan Hits 3 Crores Footfalls In All Versions

Mumbai, February 13 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's latest blockbuster "Pathaan" is proving to be a massive winner for the makers as well as the Indian cinema exhibition industry. Apart from scoring huge box office numbers, "Pathaan" has brought audiences to theaters in large numbers which no other Bollywood movie could do in recent times. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is among the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time in terms of theater admissions/footfalls. While most of the big-budget films finished below 50 lakh footfalls, "Pathaan" has just hit 3 crores theater footfalls which is the highest for a Bollywood movie since Salman Khan's "Tiger Zinda Hai". ## "Pathaan" hit 3 crores in footfalls yesterday (3rd Monday) in all versions (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). The original Hindi version admissions through the 3rd Monday are approx. 2.86 crores which are the 19th highest for a Bollywood film of all time. ## Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit's "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" is the all-time number 1 Bollywood/Hindi as well as Indian movie in terms of footfalls with approx. 7.40 crores, according to Box of India. Mumbai, February 12 - Spy action thriller, "Pathaan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan is running riot at the box office and crossed 900 crores mark within three weeks. ## Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" is racing towards 1000 crores at the global box office looking at the current trend, thanks to the historic extended opening week in which the movie grossed approx. 697 crores globally, including 260 crores overseas. ## After such a massive week, "Pathaan" dropped around 78% globally in the second week for approx. 191 crores, reaching 888 crores after two weeks (16 days). Pathaan Third Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 10 - Pathaan is heading towards another good day at the box office going by the early estimate figures which suggest around 5 crores net mark on its third Friday. The hold once again has given a chance to the film to cross the collections of Bahubali: The Conclusion.## The third Friday collections will take the total tally of Pathaan to around 464cr net box office mark and now the film needs just another 50cr collection to emerge as the highest-grossing film in the Hindi language beating Bahubali: The Conclusion. ## There will be a growth in the collections tomorrow as it is a Saturday when multiplexes see huge walk-ins while single screens will see it's the best day on Sunday. Pathaan Outscores RRR To Become The Second Biggest Indian Grosser In North America

Los Angeles, February 10 - Shah Rukh Khan-fronted blockbuster "Pathaan" has become the second highest-grossing Indian film in North America, which is one of the biggest international movie markets for Indian titles. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has grossed approx. $14.95 million (123 crores) in 16 days so far at the North American box office. It has outscored SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR" which has grossed $14.90 million and become the all-time second-biggest Indian and biggest Bollywood movie there. ## Rajamouli's "Baahubali The Conclusion" is currently the number one Indian title in North America with approx. $22 million. Ajay Devgn's Long-Awaited Sports Biopic 'Maidaan' To Be Postponed Again?

Mumbai, February 10 - It seems there is no easy way to get out of jail for Ajay Devgn-fronted "Maidaan". The long-awaited biographical sports drama film is getting difficulties in its release which has led to multiple delays over the last year or so. The movie was supposed to release in February this year, however, the makers recently announced its postponement to May 12, 2023, release. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the Amit Sharma-directed flick has been pushed again to June this year. Bollywood Hungama reports that "Maidaan" has been shifted to June 23 release, which is still a complex date to bring the film to the big screen. ## June 2023 is already flooded with two tentpole titles, "Jawan" (June 2) and "Adipurush" (June 16). Pathaan Third Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, February 9 - Pathaan is continuing with its steady run at the box office as the early estimate collections suggest 5.50-6 crores net on its third Thursday which is around a 10-12% drop from yesterday's collections. Even yesterday the film had shown a similar drop.## The third Thursday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 459cr net box office mark as per early estimates. Pathaan has another free week and the first sign of competition will arrive the next week with Shehzada. Overall the job has been done and Pathaan has emerged as one of the biggest box-office hits of the last 15 years. ## The overseas numbers are never seen before as the film is heading for close to the 50 million mark. The previous best were Dangal, Padmaavat, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom3 all of them were in the 28-30 million range. Rajkumar Hirani To Direct Cricketer Lala Amarnath's Biopic After Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki'

Pathaan Third Wednesday Early Estimates; Crosses 450 Crores Mark

Mumbai, February 8 - Pathaan continues to hold well after a fantastic second weekend where it emerged as one of the biggest second weekends ever. As per the early estimates, the movie scored around 6.50-7 crores net on its third Wednesday. ## The film is showing a drop of around 10-12% daily which is a good sign. The ticket rates of the film are now more to regular levels and hence the collections are looking good only but with the same pricing as on weekends, the collections would have been excellent. The ticket rates should have been kept on the higher side as it would have helped the film to cross the Bahubali2 numbers which are still possible but not easy. ## The third Wednesday collections will take the total collections of Pathaan to around 453Cr net box office mark becoming the only Bollywood film in history to cross this landmark. The film needs around 50Cr to join the 500cr mark which will make it one of the biggest blockbusters of the last 15 years and 60cr to emerge as the highest-grossing film ever in Hindi languages. ## Pathaan has a free run of another week or so and this has proved to be a huge plus for the film. The movie has already broken several records for a Bollywood as well as an Indian movie at the domestic and overseas box office. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is chasing history as far as the Hindi language collection is concerned. Hyderabad, February 6 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has urged fans of him and other actors to stop asking for updates about their films every day. The actor, who was last seen in SS Rajamouli's "RRR", was speaking at the pre-release event of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's "Amigos" on Sunday. ## During the event, Jr. NTR was asked to provide an update about his upcoming film "NTR 30" with director Koratala Siva. The film has shown a growth of around 25% compared to yesterday which is simply unbelievable as yesterday the film had a growth of close to 65%. Mumbai, February 5 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" had a historic second Saturday at the box office as far as the Bollywood industry is concerned. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 23.25 crores net on the second Saturday, which is the second biggest 2nd Saturday of all time for a Bollywood movie. With that, "Pathaan" has crossed 400 crores net mark (all languages) and becomes the first ever Bollywood film to achieve the feat. ## The Hindi version of "Pathaan" has scored 387 crores net, after a strong 22.50 crores on the second Saturday. The movie has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, beating "Dangal" which grossed 374 crores net in the original Hindi version. At the time of writing this piece, "Pathaan" has become has crossed the 400 crores net in the Hindi language alone.## Not just domestically, "Pathaan" is breaking records at the overseas box office as well. It has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie in the USA. It grossed $1.12 million on the second Saturday, pushing total gross collection to $13.40 million in 11 days. Mumbai, February 4 - Pathaan annihilated the box office on the second Saturday of its run with collections likely to be more than 60% compared to yesterday. The collections are heading towards the 23 crores net (Hindi - 22 crores) on the second Saturday, as per the early estimates. This is extraordinary growth for a mass front-loaded film that has already created historic initial records. ## The growth was always on the cards due to the superb holds on the weekdays but this sort of growth was unexpected and tells a lot about the public appreciation for Pathaan. East, West, North, and South Pathaan has superb growth all over the country across every circuit. There are a few underperforming centers as they are not at the historic levels but as standalone centers, they are doing well.## The second Saturday collections will take the entire collection of Pathaan to over 400cr net box office mark. The film has crossed the lifetime business of Dangal to emerge as the highest-grossing film in the Hindi film industry and it is also the first Hindi film that crossed the benchmark of the 400cr club. Pathaan Becomes Biggest Ever Bollywood Grosser At The Domestic Box Office

Mumbai, February 4 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating Aamir Khan's all-time blockbuster "Dangal". Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" scored 378.15 crores net, including 364.5 crores net in Hindi alone in 10 days. It has surpassed the "Dangal" lifetime collection of 387 crores in all languages as well as 374 crores in Hindi, as I type this piece, with a total net collection going past 400 crores (401 crores), including approx. 386 crores in Hindi.## As far as the gross collection is concerned, "Dangal" (535 crores) is still ahead of "Pathaan" (454 crores). "Pathaan" has also become the 3rd highest-grossing Hindi film after "Baahubali 2" (510 crores) and "KGF 2" (435 crores).
