The former took to Instagram stories to point out alleged malpractice. ## In her Insta stories, Divya shared a photo of an empty theatre and claimed that all theatres are going empty for Jigra. The actress also alleged that Alia has bought tickets by herself and announced a fake collection of her movie, Jigra. ## "Went to Citi Mall PVR for Jigra show. Theatre was totally empty... all theatres going empty everywhere. #Aliabhatt me sach mein Bahut #Jigra hai.. khud hi tickets karide aur fake collections announce kar diye. According to News18, Divya recently reacted to the similarities between her film Savi and Alia Bhatt's Jigra.## Savi, also starring Harshvardhan Rane and Anil Kapoor, is about a housewife trying to break her husband out of a high-security prison in England, inspired by the Savitri and Satyavan story. Mumbai, October 11 - Bollywood star Alia Bhatt returns to the big screen with director Vasan Bala's action thriller Jigra since romantic comedy-drama Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in July 2023.## Jigra generated decent hype after the trailer release, however, this couldn't turn into box office numbers as the opening of the film is below the mark. According to early estimates, the movie scored in the range of 4.25-4.50 crores on its opening day. ## The opening of Jigra is somehow on the projected lines due to the genre but the presence of Alia was anticipated to bring bigger opening day numbers which couldn't happen. Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release 4 Weeks (28 Days) Collection

Mumbai, October 11 - The folk horror thriller Tumbbad has eased down at the box office after a superb 4-week re-release run which saw it becoming the biggest re-release grosser ever at the Indian box office by a very good margin. ## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad was re-released on September 13 amid public demand and what followed after that led the trade by surprise. The film almost wiped out its original total collection of approximately 13.50 crores net in the first week only with a superb 13.15 crores net. ## As word of mouth spread, the film maintained a very good hold in the second week with a solid 11.40 crores net, followed by another 4.40 crores net in the third week. In the fourth week, the movie remained over the 1 crore mark and scored approximately 1.65 crore net, for a total re-release collection of approximately 30.50 crores in 4 weeks (28 days). ## This is a very good collection for the genre and a movie which was a flop in its original run back in 2018. Tumbbad has managed to turn the table and also crossed the 50 crores gross mark (52.25 crores) at the worldwide box office, including the 16 crores gross original collection. ## The re-release factor used to work big for the Indian film industry a couple of decades ago and the trend is returning. Mumbai, October 11 - Maverick filmmaker Rohit Shetty and the team have announced the re-release of Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham (2011) ahead of the release of Singham Again which is scheduled for Diwali 2024 launch. ## Singham, which was the first movie in Shetty's Cop Universe, will be re-released in cinemas on October 18 across the country. Mumbai, October 7 - Filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions announced on Monday that it will stop pre-release screenings of its future movies. The studio, like many others, used to host media screenings a day or two before the release dates. ## Describing this decision as a crucial measure to preserve the excitement surrounding the movie-going experience, Dharma said in a statement shared with the media, "This decision has been difficult to make, however, we believe it's a necessary step in ensuring that every viewer, including our friends in the media, witness our stories as they were meant to be experienced".## "We believe it will help in maintaining the excitement of the cinematic experience for all", the statement reads. The sequel to 2014's blockbuster has been in the news for many years and has finally been confirmed. ## The movie was announced on October 4 with a first-look glimpse of Salman Khan's photoshoot for Kick 2. The photo shoot was done at the sets of Sikandar which is also being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. ## The first look glimpse of Kick 2 shows Salman Khan facing the camera. This has come out of the blue and has surely raised excitement among the fans. Mumbai, October 3 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks with director Amar Kaushik for an adventure film. Kaushik has just delivered an all-time blockbuster in the form of Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan has had a couple of meetings with director Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films regarding their potential collaboration. The project in question will not be part of Maddock Supernatural Universe, but mark the beginning of a new one. ## It is said that SRK is aiming to have a 3-film line-up in place before he starts shooting for director Sujoy Ghosh's King. The talks are still in the early days and the actor is yet to take a decision on the same. More discussions are expected to take place in the months to come before he takes a call on doing or not doing the film. ## Apart from Kaushik's adventure movie, SRK is also in talks with the director of Raj & DK for a comic action thriller along with other filmmakers including from South India. ## Meanwhile, the shoot of King, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Varma, and Suhana Khan, is scheduled to commence in January 2025 and wrap by mid-2025. Mega Blockbuster 'Stree 2' Completes Glorious 50 Days At The Box Office

Mumbai, October 3 - Maddock Films' horror comedy Stree 2 has turned the chapters of the history books upside down with once-in-a-lifetime box office performances. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-fronted has been on a dream ride for the past 7 weeks and isn't stopping anytime soon. ## Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel of 2018's blockbuster film has completed glorious 50 days in theatres today (8th Thursday), and this has been the most decorated run for an Indian title at the domestic box office with an insane day-wise trend. ## Of course, Stree 2 has hugely benefitted from the lack of serious competition, a luxury past blockbusters didn't have for such a long period. It has been a one-horse race, and thanks to that, the movie is now on the brink of breaching the rarest of the box office milestones of 600 crores net after becoming the biggest single language grosser in India.## Stree 2 has scored approximately 591.50 crores net collection in 49 days, making it the biggest single language grosser at the Indian box office by beating Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan which minted 582.31 crores net in Hindi. In the 49 days so far, Stree 2 has scored 1+ crore net collection in 46 days, making it the only film to achieve the feat in a single language. ## The latest mega-blockbuster is around 8 crore net collection away from topping the 600 crore milestone, which has never been achieved in a particular language. It is expected to sail through as the holiday season approaches, however, the upcoming films along with the holdovers might make a dent which needs to be seen.## At the worldwide box office, Stree 2 has minted approximately 840 crores gross, including 706 crores gross in India and an estimated 134 crores overseas collection. Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Non-Theatrical Rights Sold For 135 Crore

Mumbai, October 2 - Kartik Aaryan's hugely-anticipated horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has reportedly fetched a career biggest non-theatrical deal for the actor. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the third instalment of the blockbuster franchise is gearing up for Diwali 2024 release. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, the digital, satellite, and music rights of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have been sold to leading players for a sum of Rs 135 crore. Netflix has post-theatrical streaming rights to the movie while Sony Network has digital rights. ## Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series, which is producing the film with Cine1 Studio, has the music rights of BB3 and it is said that the company is bullish on fetching big profits from the music of the film, as the album has 5 super-hit songs.## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has reportedly been made on a budget of around 150 crores and the makers have covered a large chunk of their budget with the pre-sale of non-theatrical rights only which is also said to be the biggest for a Kartik Aaryan-fronted. ## BB3 reunites Kartik with director Anees Bazmee after the second instalment which was a big box office success, grossing over 250 crores worldwide in 2022. Director Finalized For Ranbir Kapoor-led 'Dhoom 4'

Mumbai, October 1 - In one of the biggest news, it was recently revealed that Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor would be headlining Yash Raj Films' 4th instalment of the hugely-anticipated action thriller Dhoom franchise, stepping into playing the anti-hero role which has been the USP of the franchise. ## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, Vijay Krishna Acharya has been finalized to direct Dhoom 4. Vijay aka Victor has written the story and screenplay of the previous three films of the franchise and went on to direct Dhoom 3 (2013) which is also the highest-grossing film in the series.## It is said that Victor has also written the script for Dhoom 4 and is now also on board to helm this one, as per the Bollywood Hungama report.
