But, thank you". ## "People who are close to me know that I get very uncomfortable with awards or compliments, so I would not really know how to reply exactly", she added. ## Samantha got married to Naga Chaitanya in 2017. Interestingly, the actress made her debut opposite Naga in the Telugu movie, Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010. Jagame Thandhiram Would Have Been A Great Theatrical Experience, Says Dhanush

Chennai, June 1, 2021: Tamil superstar Dhanush's most-awaited film, Jagame Thandhiram's trailer was launched on Tuesday, June 1. The movie, which marks the first collaboration between the actor and director Karthik Subbaraj, will premiere directly on Netflix on June 18. ## The trailer shows Dhanush in the role of a Madurai-based witty gangster called Suruli. He travels to London to take on a local gangster named Peter Sprott, played by Hollywood actor James Cosmo of Game of Thrones fame. James Cosmo plays the role of a London-based mafia boss and shares a bitter relationship with Suruli. ## Produced by Y NOT Studios, and Reliance Entertainment, Jagame Thandhiram was supposed to release in theaters in May last year but was delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, Dhanush mentioned that the movie is made for the big screen only, however, in February, the producer S Sashikanth of Y Not Studio decided to release it against theaters on Netflix. ## As Dhanush was quite confident about the theatrical release, the decision of the direct OTT release on Netflix did disappoint him. He distanced himself from the film's promotion and has reportedly not been on talking terms with the producer. ## On Tuesday, Dhanush took to Twitter and shared the trailer link of Jagame Thandhiram saying, "What would have been a great theatrical experience coming to Netflix. Chennai, May 25, 2021: Soon after the Tamil movie "Kaithi" starring Karthi was released in 2019, the fans have been speculating about the sequel of this film which is noted to be inspired by the 1976 American film Assault on Precinct 13. ## The ending of the action blockbuster was in such a way that it opened up a new leaf for a deeper story, leaving the fans wanting more from the story. Well, things are rightly falling in place after director Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Karthi hinted about a possible sequel sometime back.## Now, producer SR Prabhu has also confirmed through a Twitter Spaces session that Kaithi 2 is definitely in the works and the audience will definitely get to see what happened next. The movie, which was released on 12 November last year via Amazon Prime Video, was made available for screening at the 93rd Academy Awards but missed to make an entry in Oscar nominations. ## Directed by Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru has now been selected for the Panorama section at the Shanghai Film Festival, which is set to take place next month. KV Anand had worked as a cinematographer in movies like Sivaji, Chellamae along with Hindi movies, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Nayak: The Real Hero, and others. ## KV Anand, 54, had also directed some of the critically acclaimed Tamil movies like Kaappaan, Maattrraan, Kavan, Anegan, and few others. He won the National Award for cinematography for the 1995's Malayalam movie, Thenmavin Kombath.
