The movie is turning into a rage in Kerala and Tamil Nadu as well as in overseas markets. ## The Chidambaram S Poduval's directorial flick grossed around 62 crores worldwide in the first 9 days. In India, it has minted around 36 crores while its overseas collection is approximately 26 crores. Hyderabad, March 2 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has been in theatres for more than 50 days, a remarkable achievement for a film that was released with limited expectations. The movie's box office performance also made makers pause its digital release, something which is rare for a South Indian movie nowadays. ## Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was released on January 12 during the Sankranthi festival along with a couple of other movies on either date. The movie initially faced challenges in getting desired screens in Telugu states as it wasn't a big film compared to other movies released during the same period. ## To overcome the challenges, Hanuman needed solid audience word-of-mouth and once it happened, it looked unstoppable. Mumbai, March 1 - Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's aerial action thriller Fighter is nearing its box office as the movie currently stands at over 350 crores gross at the worldwide box office after 5 weeks of its theatrical run. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter at one stage looked down and out but staying true to its title, the movie fought back to reach a respectable total. In its 5th week, the movie minted approximately 2.80 crores net (3.25 crores gross) at the domestic box office, pushing the total India net to around 211.75 crores (253.75 crores gross). ## While the domestic collection is decent, the movie has done well at the overseas box office by grossing over 100 crores at an estimated 101 crores in 5 days, pushing the total worldwide collection to 355 crores gross.## Fighter has become Hrithik Roshan's third-biggest grosser at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office and for Deepika Padukone, it is her 5th biggest domestic grosser and 7th worldwide. At the domestic box office, it has minted around 31.25 crores gross while overseas collection is over 23 crores in 8 days. ## Manjummel Boys is running riot in its home state Kerala and has grossed around 24.75 crores in the first week, but what is surprising is the film's performance in Tamil Nadu state where it is simply putting incredible show.## In Tamil Nadu, the blockbuster thriller has become the first Malayalam movie to cross 3 crores gross collection as it currently stands at over 3.50 crores gross in the state. The drop from the second week is around 50% which is a pretty solid hold for a movie that was rejected by most of the critics. ## Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya started the third week with a good collection of 2.50 crores net on Friday on which ticket prices were sold at just Rs. 99, before scoring approximately 7.50 crores net in the third weekend. ## After the weekend, TBMAUJ showed a steady trend and scored around 3.15 crores net from Monday to Thursday for approximately 10.65 crores net third week. The total collection of the film is currently at around 76.70 crores net and the movie is heading towards finishing around 80-85 crores lifetime collection. ## TBMAUJ is also doing well at the overseas box office and has minted an estimated 38 crores in three weeks. Due to positive word of mouth, the movie witnessed growth over the weekend and minted approximately 23 crores net in the first 3 days. ## Article 370 witnessed a drop of over 60% on Monday for around 3.25 crores net but since then, the movie showed consistency in collection and remained over 3 crores net during the weekdays. The first week collection of the film is around 35.50 crores net which is good considering the theme. ## The 35.50 crores net collection is the fifth biggest first-week total for a Yami Gautam-starrer in the leading role, after Uri, OMG 2, Bala, and Kaabil. The movie was made available to stream from February 15 and it scored 13 million viewing hours from 4.9 million views in the first 4 days. ## Dunki has so far scored 24.1 million viewing hours from 9.1 million views, making it one of the most-watched Indian films on the streamer in the first 11 days. Mumbai, February 27 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh marked his return to the big screen in 2023 with mega-blockbuster Pathaan in January, followed by ever-bigger success in the form of Jawan in September, and by the end of the year, the actor scored another success in the form of Dunki. ## Dunki was supposed to be SRK's biggest movie due to his maiden collaboration with Maverick director Rajkumar Hirani. However, the comedy-drama couldn't come close to the actor's previous two movies though it ended up as a successful venture due to a controlled production budget. ## Released during the Christmas 2023 weekend, Dunki scored approximately 29 crores net upon its Thursday opening but the film couldn't show much growth from thereon during the weekend. It still scored a good first-week collection of 160 crores net but due to the mixed word of mouth, the movie dropped heavily in the second week to around 46 crores net. ## Dunki competed with Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire and the holdover Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. The movie, however, kept pushing at low levels and eventually was able to cross 200 crores net collection, which can be termed decent given the genre but a lot was expected from the SRK and Rajkumar Hirani combo. ## The movie also underperformed at the overseas box office with an estimated 182 crores. Hyderabad, February 26 - Director Prashanth Varma's blockbuster Hanuman has crossed 200 crores net collection at the domestic box office, becoming the first Telugu and second Indian film of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Starring Teja Sajja, the superhero movie hit the milestone of 200 crores net in its 7th weekend and currently stands at around 200.30 crores net in all languages. The Telugu version of the film is leading by a huge margin over other languages with around 144 crores, followed by the Hindi version with 52 crores net. ## The Hindi version of the movie has yielded a big surprise at the box office as it is only the 11th South Indian film to mint 50 crores net or more in this particular language. The other languages, including Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil, have made around 4 crores net. ## Hanuman will almost finish nearly 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
