Mumbai, February 17 - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's search for a box office hit since the COVID-19 pandemic is finally coming to an end as their romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is racing towards 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office. ## The Maddock Films' production grossed over 81 crores in the first week and started the second week with a decent hold in collection. The movie grossed around 3.50 crores on its second Friday (8th day), which pushed the total domestic collection to over 56.50 crores. ## TBMAUJ is doing very well at the overseas box office and has so far grossed around 29 crores for over 85.50 crores worldwide in 8 days. The movie is already showing a very good jump on its second Saturday which is likely to follow another good jump on Sunday. It is the fourth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) after Venom (2018), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), and Morbius (2022). ## Directed by S. J. Clarkson, Madame Web's critics' score at Rotten Tomatoes is currently at just 13% from 175 reviews while the audience score is 54%, making it the worst-rated Spider-Man spin-off film on both parameters. Overseas, TBMAUJ has grossed an estimated 28 crores so far, for worldwide 81 crores gross first week total. ## TBMAUJ is the 6th highest-grossing movie domestically and 5th worldwide for Shahid Kapoor while for Kriti, it is her 8th biggest domestic and 6th worldwide grosser. Los Angeles, February 15 - Warner Bros. Pictures' epic science fiction film Dune: Part 2 is setting up to be one of the most-anticipated films. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, it is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert. ## Following the success of the first part, released in 2021, Hollywood Trade is hoping for the massive success of Dune 2. However, the film's early box office projections have been revealed and it is currently falling short of the trade expectations. ## According to Deadline, Dune 2 is tracking to gross $65 million - $75 million in its domestic (North America) opening box office weekend. The actor has had a mixed bag of success over the last couple of years and now, he aims to make big over the next few years. ## Ranveer is currently shooting for director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again with Ajay Devgn in the title role. The actor has already shot for most of his part and will wrap up by April this year. It is said that Ranveer is playing a significant extended role in Singham 3 which also has Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Sharoff with Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist. ## After wrapping up Singham 3, the Simmba star will move to director Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. The actor has replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan to headline the third instalment of the franchise and he will undergo workshops to get into the part of Don. The movie has been in production since 2022 and was supposed to be released in February this year but was postponed. ## There have been rumours that the movie was titled Start Up, but now, the makers have announced the official title. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the film is titled Sarfira, and it also stars Radhika Madan as the female lead alongside Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas. ## The title of the movie was unveiled on February 13 with the first look glimpse. The makers have locked a July 12, 2024, release date for the same, 3 months after Akshay's upcoming hugely-awaited Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with director Ali Abbas Zafar. ## The music of Sarfira is scored by National Award winner GV Prakash Kumar. Mumbai, February 11 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand's aerial action thriller Fighter has a decent third weekend at the domestic box office, taking a step closer to the 200 crores net collection mark. ## Also starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Fighter minted approximately 9.40 crores net in its third weekend, pushing the total collection to around 197 crores in 18 days. The movie will enter the 200 crores club by Tuesday or Wednesday to become the first Indian film of 2024 to do so. ## Fighter is also heading towards 350 crores gross at the worldwide box office. Mumbai, February 11 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has unlocked a box office achievement as it has crossed 50 crores net in the dubbed Hindi version while worldwide, it is heading towards 300 crores gross mark. ## Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, Hanuman had a limited release to begin with as it started with approximately 2.10 crores net in Hindi. However, with super positive word of mouth, the movie started gaining momentum and now on its 30th day, it has topped 50 crores net mark. ## Hanuman is the 11th South Indian and 7th Telugu film to hit 50 crores net collection in Hindi. The total net collection of the film currently stands at approximately 194.50 crores, including a little over 50 crores in Hindi alone.## The film is also heading towards hitting 300 crores gross at the worldwide box office, however, it may fall short of the target.
