Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD' Theatrical Runtime Reportedly Revealed
Hyderabad, May 30 - The anticipation is shooting up as the release date of Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD is getting nearer with each passing day. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year. ## Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be designed for international audiences and the details emerging from it are exciting. As said, it is India's most expensive film yet with a reported budget of approximately 600 crores and now, the movie's runtime has also reportedly been revealed. ## According to rumours floating on social media, the theatrical runtime of Kalki 2898 AD is estimated to be 2 hours and 50 minutes which was expected, keeping the complexity of the subject which mixes mythology with sci-fi elements. It is one of the longest Telugu films made in recent times. ## Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki is set in a post-apocalyptic world in 2898 AD. In the movie, Prabhas plays the character of Bhairava who intended to be a modern-day version of the Avatar of Lord Vishnu. He has been tasked to fight a fascist regime which holds control of most of the galaxy. ## Kalki 2898 AD boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachlan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles.
