Box Office: Tillu Square Scores Huge First Weekend Worldwide

Hyderabad, April 1 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran's romantic crime comedy film Tillu Square, a sequel to 2022's blockbuster film DJ Tillu, has emerged as a big success within the opening weekend itself. ## Directed by Mallik Ram, the sequel is wreaking havoc at the box office and is performing like a top-tier hero movie and the hype generated after the first movie took the sequel to the next level in terms of the box office potential.## Tillu Square, in its opening weekend, grossed a solid estimated 55 crores at the worldwide box office. Box Office: Tillu Square Outgrossed DJ Tillu's Lifetime Collection In 2 Days

Hyderabad, March 30 - Siddhu Jonnalagadda's romantic crime comedy film Tillu Square, a sequel to his blockbuster DJ Tillu (2022), took a sensational opening at the worldwide box office, grossing 70% of its predecessor's lifetime collection on the first day itself. ## The much-talked-about sequel opened to positive reports all over which led to the excellent collection at the box office. Directed by Malik Ram, Tillu Square scored a huge 23 crore gross collection worldwide, including approximately 13 crore in India and 10 crore at the overseas box office on its first day. ## DJ Tillu, which was released in February 2022, had grossed approximately 30.50 crores globally in its lifetime run, which has been outgrossed by its sequel on its second day only. 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam' Shooting To Commence In April 2024

Hyderabad, March 4 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire was a big success, grossing over 600 crores at the worldwide box office. The Prashanth Neel's directorial announced the film's sequel at the end of the first part and now, there is an exciting update on the same. ## The sequel of the film was titled Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam and the makers have been saying that it will go on floors soon. Hyderabad, March 2 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has been in theatres for more than 50 days, a remarkable achievement for a film that was released with limited expectations. The movie's box office performance also made makers pause its digital release, something which is rare for a South Indian movie nowadays. ## Starring Teja Sajja, Hanuman was released on January 12 during the Sankranthi festival along with a couple of other movies on either date. Hyderabad, February 26 - Director Prashanth Varma's blockbuster Hanuman has crossed 200 crores net collection at the domestic box office, becoming the first Telugu and second Indian film of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Starring Teja Sajja, the superhero movie hit the milestone of 200 crores net in its 7th weekend and currently stands at around 200.30 crores net in all languages. The Telugu version of the film is leading by a huge margin over other languages with around 144 crores, followed by the Hindi version with 52 crores net. ## The Hindi version of the movie has yielded a big surprise at the box office as it is only the 11th South Indian film to mint 50 crores net or more in this particular language. Mumbai, February 11 - Director Prasanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has unlocked a box office achievement as it has crossed 50 crores net in the dubbed Hindi version while worldwide, it is heading towards 300 crores gross mark. ## Starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, Hanuman had a limited release to begin with as it started with approximately 2.10 crores net in Hindi. However, with super positive word of mouth, the movie started gaining momentum and now on its 30th day, it has topped 50 crores net mark. ## Hanuman is the 11th South Indian and 7th Telugu film to hit 50 crores net collection in Hindi. Mumbai, January 22 - Director Prashanth Varma's superhero movie Hanuman has emerged as a big Sankranthi 2024 winner at the domestic and worldwide box office. The film not only surpassed bigger titles but is also on course to become the biggest Sankranthi winner ever in Telugu cinema. ## Hanuman was released on January 12 with superstar Mahesh Babu's action drama "Guntur Kaaram" which is a much bigger movie in terms of star power and scale. The Trivikram Srinivas' directorial has done well during the festive season, despite the mixed word of mouth. ## Released on January 12, the Haarika & Hassine Creations' produced venture has managed to score approximately 157 crores at the worldwide box office in the first 7 days. In India, the movie has minted around 127 crores gross while the overseas collection is approximately 30 crores. ## Guntur Kaaram needs to hold decently in the coming days to emerge as a successful venture which is now looking very much possible. After the second day, on which the collection dropped by around 70%, the break-even target was looking difficult but the festive season helped the movie to find stability and now, it is in a much better position at the box office. ## Director Prashant Varma's superhero movie Hanuman is giving tough competition to Guntur Kaaram and it will soon overtake the latter at the worldwide box office. Hyderabad, January 16 - Superstar Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram has another good hold at the domestic box office and the movie is inching closer to 100 crores net mark in India within the first week despite the mixed reviews from critics. ## The action drama film continues to benefit from the Pongal holidays, scoring an estimated 11-12 crores net (13-14) collection on its first Tuesday/fifth day. The holiday period plus the stardom of Babu is proving to be a saving grace for the movie after getting a mixed reception. ## The total collection of Guntur Kaaram has reached over 94+ crores net (111 crores gross) after 5 days, per estimates, and it will top 100 crores net by tomorrow. The Pongal holidays and the coming weekend should ensure a hit verdict of the film, which could have easily collapsed in a normal week with the kind of drop it had on its second day. ## Meanwhile, director Prashanth Varma's Hanuman continues to riot and has another super solid day at the box office.
