Mumbai, November 29 - The highly-awaited Tamil action drama film Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna is getting ready to release in theaters on Pongal 2023. The movie was announced to release simultaneously in Telugu as Vaarasudu. ## Now, according to the latest confirmed reports, the Vamshi Paidipally directorial will also get a Hindi release. It is said that the T-Series, which already has musical rights to it, has acquired the Hindi distribution rights of the movie in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations and Manish Shah. ## The title of the movie in Hindi is reportedly Vaaris and the Hindi version will have a day and date release with Tamil and Telugu versions on January 12, 2023. The movie is likely to get a good release in Hindi as there is no big new Hindi film at that time, as of now. ## "Varisu" will be up against Thala Ajith's "Thunivu" at the box office and both movies are expected to take flying starts at the Tamil Nadu box office. The movie was originally released in August 2002, and even though it was a box office failure, the movie gets appreciation for Rajini's acting and other aspects.## Directed by Suresh Krissna from the screenplay written by Rajinikanth himself, the "Baba" re-release is already the talk of the town. Chennai, November 16 - Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited family action drama film Varisu is getting ready to release on Pongal 2023. It is arguably the biggest Indian film releasing on Sankranthi 2023 among the other films like Ajith Kumar's "Thunivu", Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Waltair Veerayya", and Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Veera Simha Reddy". ## Thalapathy Vijay carries a massive loyal fan following and this is clearly tempting makers to set things higher for "Varisu" as far as its pre-release business is concerned. Chennai, November 7 - Legendary actor Kamal Haasan made a roaring comeback with director Lokesh Kanagaraj's action thriller Vikram which grossed over 400 crores at the worldwide box office, only the third Tamil movie ever to do so. ## "Vikram" was expected to do well considering the track record of director Lokesh and the star power it was carrying, but it exceeded those expectations and proved to be a bonafide blockbuster. Kamal Haasan has been a legendary figure in Indian cinema but his box office pull was diminishing over the last few years, but the mega-blockbuster success of "Vikram" proved that he is far from over yet.## The National Award-winning actor is setting up his future line-up which is probably one of the best among Indian actors. The actor's long-awaited and probably the most hyped vigilante action drama film Indian 2 with director Shankar is back on track and is currently under production.## "Indian 2" is intended to be the sequel to Kamal Haasan and Shankar's 1996 film Indian. The shoot of the film has seen multiple delays due to various issues and was even on the verge of getting shelved but everything is fine now.
