Bengaluru, June 23 - Director Prashanth Neel's KGF is arguably the biggest film franchise in India at the moment. There has been a genuine curiosity among the audiences about the KGF films and it keeps growing with each-passing day. ## KGF Chapter 2, which was released in April this year, is the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of all time at the worldwide box office, and there is genuine excitement about its next chapter which has officially been announced. ## When KGF 3 was announced, many people thought the makers are forcibly pushing the franchise to make money as the story of the film ends with Rocky's death. However, director Prashanth Neel said that the making of KGF 3 is out of compulsion.## During a recent interview with a media house, Neel said (via Mirchi9), "KGF 3 is out of compulsion. People are in love with the franchise and the character. We are in a place where we have to make KGF 3. We have the idea for KGF 3. In fact, we have had the idea much before KGF 2". ## While the movie has been announced, the question about when it will begin remains unanswered. Director Neel is probably busy till the end of the next year. He is currently busy in Prabhas-fronted Salaar, and once he is done with it, he will kickstart Jr. NTR's next. Bengaluru, June 23 - Kannada star Rakshit Shetty has another blockbuster in his hands as his adventure comedy-drama "777 Charlie" has become the highest-grossing film worldwide of him. The movie is also about to become the second-biggest Kannada movie of the year, by beating "James". ## Directed by Kiranraj K., "777 Charlie" has grossed apporx. 76 crores through the second Tuesday at the worldwide box office. This was enough for it outshine "Avane Srimannarayana (ASN)" to become the biggest movie of Shetty's career. ASN was a huge blockbuster upon its release in 2019 and grossed over 74 crores worldwide. ## "777 Charlie", unlike ASN, was also released in Hindi and so far it has had a good run at the box office with a net collection of over 4.50 crores. The other versions excluding Kannada have scored approx. 7 crores net while the original Kannada version of the movie made over 51 crores and is a blockbuster. Overseas, "777 Charlie" has minted approx. 5 crores gross. ## The film follows the journey and bonding between a lonely factory worker and a Labrador Retriever. Dharma (Rakshit) is a loner, who doesn't socialize with people, and spends his time by working in a factory. Charlie, a small Labrador dog makes a complete changeover in Dharma's life. Already a huge name in the Kannada film industry, Yash has proved himself as a 'watch me out' to the Indian audiences after bringing back the golden era of Indian cinema with the KGF franchise. ## It is quite obvious for Yash to now do larger-than-life movies with global reach. KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films also thinks the same as he believes that the 36-year-old actor should now do only Pan-Indian movies. ## During a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vijay Kiragandur was talking about the success of KGF Chapter 2 and its lead hero Yash, who has gained immense popularity with the role of Rocky he played in the movie. Lauding the actor, the producer said, "Now, he's the big Indian star, not just a Kannada star or Southern star. With KGF: Chapter 2, he has become an Indian star".## "The way he carried out the mannerisms in the movie, he gained a lot of fan base across the world. He's going to do only pan-Indian movies from now on. He has reached that level. So he can't do any smaller movies in the future (smiles). Hombale Films Produced Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara' To Have A Pan-India Release; Producer Hints

Bengaluru, May 25 - The biggest Kannada production and the powerful force behind the KGF franchise, Hombale Films is aiming to deliver 1 Pan-India film every year. The studio, headed by Vijay Kiragandur, has so far released two Pan-India films in the form of KGF movies, and the result is there for anyone to see. ## Hombale Films currently has 14 films under pipeline and a few of them will have Pan-India releases. Rishab Shetty's action thriller, Kantara, which was announced last year, might have a multilingual release. The film deals with the human vs nature conflict but with a twist of fantasy. ## Producer Vijay Kiragandur, who has produced this film under Homable Films, said in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama that they are contemplating releasing Kantara in multiple languages, including Hindi. "We'll decide on May 25. That's when we'll see the first cut. It looks pretty good to have a multilingual role, but the final decision will be taken once we see the film", he said. ## Apart from playing the lead role, Rishab Shetty has himself directed the movie from his own script. It also stars Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty, among others in prominent roles. The teaser of the film was released in April this year which got excellent responses all around. ## Apart from the aforementioned films, Hombale Films has one of the highly-anticipated Pan-India films in its kitty in the form of Salaar, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role.
