Bengaluru, October 23 - Kannada superstar Yash has officially confirmed that the plans are on for KGF: Chapter 3. The actor is presently working on the gangster action drama Toxic with director Geetu Mohandas and director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana. ## During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor responded to a question asked by THR India Editor Anupama Chopra who quoted a "great admirer" of Yash, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, who wants to know when KGF 3 is going to happen?".## The actor said KGF 3 will surely happen once he finishes Toxic and Ramayana. "We (he and director Prashanth Neel) keep talking about it. We have an idea, but we'll do it once it is the right time. It is also something which needs all our attention. We don't want to encash on anything. Bengaluru, August 17 - The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) announced the winners of the 70th National Film Awards at the National Media Center in New Delhi on Friday (August 16), to honour feature and non-feature films certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022. ## Among the big winners, Kannada production house Hombale Films scored 4 National Awards wins. Rishab Shetty-fronted action thriller Kantara won the Best Actor award to Shetty and the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The film became such a monstrous blockbuster against not much expectations that the makers announced the prequel to it earlier this year with Shetty returning to direct and headline it. ## "Kantara: Chapter 1" was recently launched and the shoot for the same will commence soon. Rishab Shetty's directorial movie, which also featured Shetty in the lead role, grossed over 400 crores worldwide against a budget of just around 15 crores. ## Produced by Hombale Films, "Kantara" is one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema of all time, and very rightly so, the second part of the movie was also officially confirmed earlier this year. Now, according to Pinkvilla, "Kantara 2" will go on floors in November this year in Mangalore.## The script work of the movie has been completed and the makers are now busy with the pre-production work. "While the first part was shot in Shetty's hometown in Kandapura, Kantara 2 will prominently be shot in Mangalore.
